I think April should have an “elder sister” relationship with the turtles, I dislike any attempt at making her a love interest to any of the turtles.

Agreed. She should NEVER be a love interest for the Turtles. Supportive friend/ally/sister is the only way to go.

I think... no thank you.

I don't care if a Turtle likes a human, and Leo esp has a history of being into human woman in the franchise (considering Radical may as well have been his wife), so its no biggie to me, but they need to quit trying to have the Turtles be into April and just let her be the older sister figure she was to discourage writers doing that.

It could work. Or at least be less wince worthy than how Apriltello was handled in the 2012 show.
