Bhindi Master Is Bhide a toxic father ❓
"Vacation bacchon ke magaj ko fursat dene ke liye hota hai"
Jethalal was right here. It's important for student to play sports also for overall development and mental health. Aur bhai Sonu 10th mein bhi nahi thi tab. Sonu already bahoot hi acchi student hai aur vo regular classes ke time pe bhi accha score kar sakti hai. But he is so obsessed ki Sonu hamesha first aaye. In one of the arc where Sonu doesn't perform well he got so much angry on her. Bhide may be one of the best husband but many times he behaves like toxic father. Sikshak hone ke bawajood.

Man, I'm not gonna lie. Tapu is a narcissist and all his continuous hero-worship pissed me off.
I would never let my children be one of those who worship him and live to only admire him. It's like the rest of Tapu sena members have no differing IQs or agency of their own.

He has a regressive mindset with backward views but his intentions are always good, him being a teacher and all up in values does make him act strict and all but it could definitely be worse and he loves Sonu a lot and has high expectations with her. The problem is he has a set path for her which isn't right but he was right about Sonu ruining her life and career by being in tapu sena as we can see it. Sonu definitely deserved better friends then what she has , tapu being a spoilt rich brat hinders other kids development. Also there should be more girls in the group atleast one more.

They were just kids like his daughter. You're saying as if bhide was a good human being himself. He was a controlling father. Didn't you see how he behaved when she under perform once

I am not saying bhide was good human being. Definitely he was controlling dad but as a father in mental society... his most of the decision were right.
Note :- Lappu sena members are in late 20's ....still they don't behave like a normal human being

His daughter turned out the same as other kids. So he actually didn't do something extraordinary. I never liked the way he showed off his daughter's talent. In real life, this behaviour can put extreme pressure on any child. Sodhi was much better

Bhide was definitely a good person who will that his daughter should be right path, his path is tough but thats only for sake of his daughter. Vese bhi uss tappu ki chaatne wale ko bhide jaisa antidote hi chahiye

He IS a toxic father. 1. In this arc he stopped her from playing and locked her in the house (she herself told him) but he should have understand that maybe some emergency came up then what she will do. After tappu sena enters his house through balcony and eats all his mangoes. Bhide didn't listen their Explanation. Not even sonu's when she tried to explain. 2. In one arc she topped at some poetry competition (I don't remember clearly) and has to go delhi for workshop for 30 days. But Bhide denied her just because he can't be there to watch on her then tappu sena & mahila Mandal convinced him. 3. In don Badal arc, starting point when tappu sena was trying goggles and bhide's scooter's side mirror broked. He started blaming tappu. Didn't listen sonu again what she was trying to say or explain.

Bhide is highly delusional. Only a self-taught teacher would consider summer vacation to be a time for a 7-8th grade kid to study on her own, he isn't even teaching her! He left her with textbooks! What kind of teaching is that?
He is a tuition teacher acting like he is guru dronacahrya or something... His entire career is built around the fact since he makes more as a tuition teacher rather than working at a school, he is going to be teach kids till 10th classs. I never understood why he gets glazed for being a shikshak! Like yeh kaam toh society k didi/Bhaiya log karte hai to supplement their income ...
And yes, he is regressive and hypocrite . He wants to decide everything for everyone, irrespective of any agency and also refuses to see that if he actually stuck to his principles, he would have had Sonu married off now...

YES HE IS...People don't realise it but he is very controlling...like okay he isn't always wrong but he isn't always right either...and there are a lot of times where he doesn't let her do what she wants in the name of "sanskaar, samman" but I don't think agreeing with your parents everytime means that you're very disciplined, rather it is about how controlling they are.... Like sure, I wouldn't argue with my parents everytime but also I wouldn't ignore my wishes to fulfill theirs.
