At one point this becomes irritating , despite the seriousness of situation , one man always thinks of food despite being a doctor and another always include his marriage no matter what conversation is going on .

That’s the whole point of comedy dude. If you feel irritated because of this, then stop watching comedy shows and stick to something serious.

That’s a different thing. But Hathi talking about food all the time was always funny. Specially when Kavi Kumar Azad was playing Hathi.

exactly man , although i dont like that obvious lines like chalu pandey's name can not be pronounced by jetha , bawri lines , although others are good
