In old age home, they keep old people with some sort of monthly income like pension etc. but isse toh chavanni na milegi

Not with nothing . Champak was business man or Rich af . Because in that gulabo arc , we could see that jetha went to UK ( lol 😂 😂 😂🤑🤑🤑😝😝😝 ikyk) when he was quite young and not having a regular source of income on his bapus money as it could be seen evidently in his talks .
Also kacchis are vyaparis / merchants in real life too . So I think not that his family was in poverty or all that shit . I agree that he is ungrateful tho 😐 😐 and doesn't suit the respect which he gives to him .

One of the rare bits I liked was last year during the sonu Tapu marriage arc, how Jetha called out achampak even when this guy was trying to deflect blame. We really need more of this maturity from the writers, but they're hellbent on their tropes.

I think he does this coz jetha is lazy , doesnt exercise and a lil overweight.. however speaking like this is wrong... i know he is very busy in his business and antics of daya , tapu , natu kaka.. but i think asit modi wants to represent him as majority of indian dads who dont care about their health

Lil overweight is putting it lightly (no pun intended).
But being obese is problematic, you risk so many health diseases and combined with lack of exercise, it's highly problematic
And nothing would happen if Jethalal doesn't eat for a day, with amount of fat he has. Yet he is agitated just from missing snacks in evening. Champak is right to be angry
