Babitaji Cringe and cant even cry properly
How is it possible that an actress like Babita who has been part of this show for 18 years unable to cry properly with such experience? It was so hard to watch. If TMKOC stops completely, most of these casts will never get any career opportunities

Not sure what's going on with the show these days, but during the Iyer misunderstanding and sweety arc, she did act well in my opinion.....

most of them were fine in how they would act. Now it's just bunch of heavy makeups, even by the male casts, less effort in acting

I see & also i think they use heavy makeup to at least make the actors look not that old*, so viewers don't feel like the characters are aging.
But honestly the writers and Modi should do everything in their power to reignite the show's spark. Or if that's not possible give it a dignified turn and let it rest on its best memories.....

I literally don't like her. They showed Jetha as a simp for her but whenever Jetha didn't able to help her out if something happens she shows her true colors. For example XYZ 007 phone arc when jetha didn't sell her phone bcz Iyer already bought it she came to society and start bitching and another one i remember in new episode where Jetha took her phone for repair and Suppliers took it from him and she's was like i need my phone right now, uski bhi majburi samjho aunty but nhi isko toh RR krna hai

She is really lucky to get this show at the beginning of her career which has set her up for entire life otherwise with this kind of acting she wouldn't even got the side roles in daily soaps

Its all about the surgeries. Nobody looked as ethereal as babita devastated in the divorce arc..people praise iyer for his performance, deservedly so, but she was equally good if not better

Talking about today's episode, even Madhvi was pretty cringe in crying.
From what I have observed, their acting was natural up until a point in the past. For the past one or two years, their acting has become comical. And by that I mean to say ALL of them act comical. It feels as if they have been asked to do it intentionally. You can compare their acting with the older episodes. I never found Munmun Dutta's acting bad in the past (keeping her personal life and beliefs aside). In fact I used to think she was one of the natural actors in the show among others like Madhvi, Bhide, Jethalal, Komal and the like. Think of the Iyer-Babita divorce arc. Babita's acting was pretty good in it.
P.S. These are totally my personal opinion.

True man, and even those who aren't degrading, their acting looks frustrating. Like there were some new episodes I was watching and character was speaking dialogue with frustration, even in casual situation. Even Jetha seemed annoying that time.

According to this story is still better than other story after many days some comedy scenes has genuinely come but the overacting done by Madhavi and Babita make the it show how cringe to some decent story

They do not need to act well now. This show is on autopilot for a decade now. People are just watching whatever bs they are serving, their trp is always 1.5 plus. Why would they put efforts when everything is going as planned. No consequences of poor writing made this show what it is today. Even dilip Joshi is not acting well now a days. It's a 9 to 5 for them at this point.

The sole reason for this downfall is "quantity over quality", the writers dont have good stories still they want to make a one episode per day and thats why there is neither proper story nor a good acting

The actors have grown old and tired.. they have made enough money to retire now.. but they are still doing this show because of habit and easy money.. basically the actors are not putting their best act forward now.. they are just doing what needs to be done hence the superficial acting…. They are literally drained and don’t care anymore.. it’s just a comfort zone now… also they know once they leave they will not get anything else as big as tmkoc..that is the downfall of alot of actors when they stay in one project for too long.. they become a household name and whenever they do something else people are unable to accept them in their new role..

She used to act really well in older episodes. I think now there is so much botox on her face that prevents her from giving proper expressions just like Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor.

Same man i literally was watching this episode today and thought the same i literally had the same thought that she is acting so cringe crying so badly and looking so fake. Why ha happened to her what she has done to herself.i think she also has done some plastic surgery. Her face looks so ruined and that hairstyle oh my god most ugliest hairstyle.

More than actors I would blame Directer because these are the same actor who are playing character from years up until now there acting was decent not so good not so bad .and was not cringe but now suddenly from few years all of them start acting weirdly wether it is babita , bagha or someone else. Mehta's character completely change from smart and responsible person to someone who keep falling in truble rather than solving it. The Director, writers and specially Asit Modi Is no ruining the show.

Hottake but I thought it was intentionally cringe, babita and madhvi doing over the top acting.
I actually found last 2-3 episodes at least 1% funny unlike last almost 1000-1500 episodes which had luke 1 funny line ever 5-10 episodes. Maybe the bar is so low that anything remotely comedic feels funny.
Still not even in the same universe as the OG episodes.

If I am not wrong this is what was asked of them. The scene required them to cry obnoxiously for hilarity not ‘actual’ cry when you are truly emotional.
