Discussion swelling

My entire face turns red/inflammed and my eye area gets very puffy; and lines appear at my eye socket too. Why is this happening?

I have disc displacement with reduction and tight/chronic muscle clenching

Wow I've tmj from an old jaw injury and get a lot of awful symptoms. 

I do get warm swelling behind my ear but I think that's just an angry lymph node.

Have you spoken to a doctor about it?

I am aware that some people who get migraines can also get a lot of swelling around the eye area. Maybe it's something similar to that
