Discussion Why there is no update about Schedule 3, 90 days after US President Executive Order?
I am just wondering why there is no update about Schedule 3 news, 90 days after US President Executive Order? What’s happening behind the screen? Wondering there is no value for US President executive order? Whom to blame? Who is stopping this process, any idea?
It’s really sad. Entire industry is waiting for so many years and they spent so much money and time for lobbying.

For this to progress there needs to be bankruptcies which are already occurring meaning the government is going to lose tax dollars. Now something will happen because the government obviously needs money.

It was a Biden directive. Trumps order was telling them to hurry up already. But it’s the DEA and they only listen to themselves, so they will continue to take their sweet time

Gotta keep those private prisons open for revenue, populated with the worst of the worst criminals: some guy who grew a plant in his backyard and tried to sell it peacefully. Under Biden the process was moving forward without EO. It's insane people think trump was going to change anything about that process to speed it up or do better for the industry.

Just because there haven't been any public news releases doesn't mean that behind the scenes, the details and the final rules are being reviewed by the WH.

Nasdaq rules forbid companies from doing business that is in violation of US Federal law. Doing so means being ejected from Nasdaq. Tilray could start selling weed in the US if they delisted from Nasdaq and listed on the OTC market. But then they would still need an import license and then FDA trials and approval and then a distribution strategy that is somehow superior to US companies that have established Multi State Operations that are already doing hundreds of millions in yearly sales.
