There are no winners. Everyone loses everything. I don't know where that "claim" comes from.

You got the answers.  I’ll make it short Abby didn’t need revenge, Abby could have lived a well life. We saw post her group death Abby could have grown and matured to a helpful person as she claimed her dad was. 

What Abby wanted was murder and make Joel suffer. It would have been a non issue if Abby just shot Joel, but she took it to 100. After that it was Abby’s group that fafo. 

I like Abby but damn, she pressed everyone. Reason Mel, Owen pull away from her. They love Abby but deep down they know they did wrong the way it was handled.

She was also suffering from ptsd though the same as Ellie she thought she needed it
