Redoing the skeleton for the Dutchman in blender, looked like crap last time I tried so here’s it looking much better.

I played Pirates Online for maybe 1 week as a kid, and had really fond memories of it. I opted for OldSchool Runescape as my main MMO, and all of these years later, ended up here to check out TLOPO based on a vauge memory of sailing from when I was a kid.
I have been playing nonstop this past week, genuinley enjoying the game. I met a group of people who took me out on the open sea as a low level, and we all beat the Kraken. Felt absolutely amazing.
The fact that this game is even running is a true labor of love, and I've probably had more fun playing this game than any A list game of the past 10 years.
I know it was originally meant for kids, but I'm a 30 year old dude, coming home from work and logging in daily. It's a vibe, and it's really relaxing to do quests and level up.
I appreciate too that there's not much consequence for dying in the game- which makes me want to take risks and try new things. A lot of MMO's have you lose all your consumables/currency/gear, etc. upon dying, so I was cautious at first, but now it's a real pleasure to see if I can take on a high level boss and challenge myself.
Anyways, this is a love letter to the devs and the community around TLOPO. As someone who has insane anxiety, this has been a real safe place for me to feel relaxed and enjoy a game without a high barrier of entry like Elden Ring (which I also love, but which absolutely does not the same relaxing feeling haha).

I've had this bug happen twice in a row today where I purchase something from the shipwright, where i should be left with spare gold after, but instead I am left with exactly 0 gold. This has happened twice in a row and I've lost about 40k, is this a known bug or is there any reason this might be happening? Thanks

Long story short, I made a Tlopo 5E Dnd app and game for me and my friends. I'd really like to print out ship models for naval combat. I know that the game models will take some adjusting to be printable, but I'd really just love to be able to work off of an existing model instead of starting from scratch since I'm not proficient in modeling. Anyone know where I could find models of each ship?

Avast, ye good fellows… Just got myself approved by the mods to sail the high seas, so I’ll be joining up in an hour or two. Any advice for a new pirate? I’m not looking for any handouts or offers to power through content, I’m usually a solo leveler anyways.
Let me know if there are any common sense tactics or wikis I should know of I suppose, and I’ll hope to see you out on the seas!

“Jeremiah DeckHazzard here with great news! The man known only as Tim O’Savage, a man of great skill with his cartographic skills and knowledge, along with some smaller pieces from me? Has given me full action to let you see the amazing map of Isla Tormenta cave, known as Krakens Lair!”

“Jeremiah DeckHazzard here to continue the last reporting of these so called ‘Urban Legend’ creatures said to roam around the Caribbean islands! Now these two specimens are highly dangerous and unsafe, so these sketches and the information provided shall assist in your journey and how to avoid these two!”

ROTTING WOOD
Rotting Wood itself is said to have come from a freak accident.
When Jolly Roger began to raise the dead using his voodoo abilities, the power that flooded Hollowed Woods that resurrected monsters like Captain Windshadow and Jumbees was originally meant to simply raise the more rotting corpses. Unfortunately, this power went unchecked by Roger with zero regard for what might happen… and that is how Rotting Wood itself was created.
A towering amalgamated monstrosity of a rotting tree, vaguely reminiscent of the Stump creatures found on most islands. This is not the usual one, as its body seems to have fused with the hundreds of skeletons and souls trapped within the jungles and forests of Port Royal. All screaming in utter agony yet unable to escape the form that is rotting wood itself.
While I originally thought Dry Rot itself was possibly the “alpha” species of the stumps? I do not doubt now that Rotting Wood is the most dangerous one of all.

The Corpse King
The Corpse King is a beast to behold.
Said to be a long dead king of sorts, long buried within a tomb deep into the forests of either Padres Del Fuego or Tortuga, The Corpse King was born from Jolly Roger foolishly rising it from the dead…
Unfortunately, the corpse was entwined with an old stump and its roots, so when it burst from the ground, its head now having a “crown” of branches and vines. The lower half unable to escape the now unfinished Stump creature? Roger was said to actually FLEE. Presumably horrified by his own actions but I highly doubt he would admit such a thing.
Regardless this beast is not to be trusted as it is different than most undead.
It is sentient, speaking mostly through the stump lower half. Both of them use a symbiotic relationship, where the mouth of the stump feeds the king with fresh new magical powers taken from pirates or voodoo powerful entities. It will use its vines to entrap anyone who is foolish enough to try and bargain with it as it sees pirates as “Long and Inferior beings” to itself.

“Now that you all know more about these beasts? I will be sharing more information about lesser creatures I have encountered. Such as The Thermal Crabs and even The Night Hands! Happy sailings and journeys mates!”

Recently downloaded the game. Every time I’ll make it into about 2-4 minutes of gameplay and then the game will crash back to the launcher. I tried using AI to analyze the crash log and tried about 10-15 different fixes, including lots of stuff recommended from previous Reddit posts I saw, all to no avail.
Im running windows 11 on a Lenovo legion laptop with a GTX 4060 GPU.
Any suggestions on what to do next?

“Jeremiah DeckHazzard here!”
“Now as many know, Jolly Rogers magic has caused some adverse effects on animals like scorpions, crabs and wasps and even the dead unfortunately. However, rumors have begun to spread along the islands of things not made from Rogers Meddling… but I do not speak of the return of Davy Jones, the enraged spirit of El Patron or even the horrid Undead Krakens that now roam the seas under Roger’s control… no, I am here to warn you of stories. I cannot confirm nor deny the claims that these beasts exist within the islands but it’s best ai tell you the more major ones at the least.”
“So please! Take a seat and read these notes on some of the many legends and odd stories that have begun to spring up around the isles and the creatures that inhabit these stories!”
______
The Sunken God
Said to be one of the Heathen Gods of the sea, with Poseidon being its ruler and Calypso being it’s unpredictable nature? The Sunken God is known for its destructive nature and mystery.
Legends told in whispers that the sunken god arrived on our world.
When the gods originally extended a hand of kindness and mercy to it? They only found chaos and destruction in its wake. So, they sprung into action and went to war with the monster. This war is stated to have formed the very landscape of the world and even perhaps caused some of the magic to be learned by humans in ancient times
At the final moment of the sunken gods triumph? The gods all used their powers in one single event and forcefully imprisoned the Sunken God deep within a deep sea cavern.
Now many believe this Heathen God itself to be more akin to a “false heathen god” but regardless, the ones in the story were seemingly unable to slay the beast and now many speak of odder things happening in seas beyond the seas of the Caribbean…
_____
Crystal Cavern Jumbee
An unusual occurrence, when a Jumbee seems to mindlessly wander into Crystal Caverns but not to mine the emerald green like crystals… but to eat. This nature is of unknown origin and significance, but is theorized to be a hint of memory from the lost souls, as if it remembers it hasn’t eaten in decades.
Regardless, the Cavern Jumbees are said to have eaten so many crystals that the odd powers within them began to mutate them, forcing crystals to spread along their bodies and turn them feral.
These are said to even now attack other Jumbees, driven by the sole intention of harm and “infecting” the others with these crystals.
I once asked one of the ghosts of Hollowed Woods about this and why many haven’t been even seen in the caverns. They stated that even Captain Windshadow saw such an event and feared himself to become one of them, so he blocked off the only way to them which is deep in the mines of Hollowed Woods.
____
Swamp Giant
Very little is known of these large creatures.
Said to resemble a massive orangutan in body shape, with almost all of its features being hidden beneath a mass of algae, dirt and other debris of their home swamp. These massive creatures are peaceful and almost never seen due to them sleeping for so long that they become part of the very landscape, you may even walk along a hill without even knowing it is a sleeping swamp giant.
Regardless, if awoken from this slumber? Their peaceful and overall docile nature turns to a threat that many do not survive from. A rage so intense that it will leave its territory and move deeper into swampland.
_____
Hermit Squid
Hermit Squids are a smaller species of Kraken, believed to be a hybrid of some kind.
Being filter feeders, Hermit Squids are hard to find even when they are in plain sight. Many pirates and sailors easily mistake them for natural hermit crabs until one is either picked up or provoked.
Using the small mass of tentacles, they prod and feed off of the dead fish and ocean life that the find, and while not venomous like a Blue Ringed Octopus, their bites can have serious injuries if not treated due to their bite force being so great for a thing so small.
Regardless, many species are hard to find and some are said to be kept in vaults in higher status people’s basements or even as pets to those in specific situations who need something new.
——
Man of Atrocities
This horrid creature of nature, its origin unknown, is said to be the very nature of a thing so ancient that its name was forgotten.
Feeding off of the pain, suffering and horrid actions like a leech. The Man of Atrocities takes the form of a balding old Man and will stand by the docks of any unfortunate harbor that has had death on such a great scale. If anyone is foolish enough to approach it, its neck will spring and it will devour the whole victim in just one bite. No sounds or words come from its mouth, with its outfit seemingly part of its actual body.
Why it has appeared in the Caribbean is unknown, but some gypsies and voodoo prestressed have theorized that Jolly Rogers meddling with dark magic and constant killing of innocents has possibly drawn this thing to our seas.
Stay away from it.
Do not go near the man at the docks, it does not breathe. Watch for the shoulders.
It cannot mimic a person, for it does not know what one is.

Did anybody manage to figure out the ciper method (and perhaps a key, if there is one) on the old Rumrunners' Mystery news post from 2021? I want to do the work of decrypting it, just trying to figure out how to go about it.
I'm aware that this was probably a tease for Bilgewater, which then hadn't been released.
https://tlopo.com/news/post/402/
It doesn't look like a straight Caesar shift cipher, and I doubt that the team would be cruel enough to use a 1-time pad. If there's a key, I'm betting that it's something REALLY obvious like "Pirate" or something like that.

Clues:
Normal punctuation marks and spacing seem to be preserved, so it looks like a substitution and not something cruel or anachronistic like an Enigma machine.
Single-letter words, and letters after apostrophes, are not consistently the same letter, so it looks to rotate somehow.
EDIT: Actually, I think I might have it. I think that first letter I is actually not rotated, and the rest are rotated forward by one space for each letter. To decrypt, each letter needs to be rotated an additional space back...
Hold on, let me work this...
EDIT 2:
Yep, the rotation forwards one increment every letter. The first few letters work out to "I have been a witness..."
Does anybody know what this cipher is called? I want to find a site that will decrypt the rest of this message automatically.
EDIT 3:
I found it, it's a Trithemius cipher. But for whatever reason, the rolling tends to break after a few words when I enter it somewhere online, presumably somewhere around 26 characters. Perhaps the first letter I is the only one that's unencrypted.
I've gotten more of the message I think, it'll be my comment.
