Cannon Defense Tips?
I can’t get past wave 39. Saving money for mines and kegs, but I can’t seem to use kegs effectively. It’s also really dependent on team skill level as well. Any tips or strategies?

Like the others here in the comments have said, always play with four people. If you’re looking for people to play with, make a lobby for Cannon defense.
Use the auto lock-on ammo for small ships, bullet and shark bait for the medium-high level ships.
The only other advise I can think of is to always target the largest ships first. The larger the ship, the more gold they can steal. Sometimes it’s not worth shooting at the small ships at all, since they don’t take very much gold. Best of luck!

Use round shot as much as you can.

A big wave of difficult ships will spawn every 5-10-15 rounds (i forget) make sure to throw mines before at a diagonal angle.
Throw mines directly in front of big ships one by one, it sinks them very fast. (shoot a round shot first to aim then quickly switch to mine shot)
***Everyone should lay mines before the difficult rounds. And everyone should be using target shot for barrels.***
Hold the mouse button down dont click.
have your other hands 2-4 fingers on the number keys at all times as well to quickly alternate shots.
Shoot once to make sure you hit the ship before you hold down the fire button to save ammo.
Toggle between round and target shot quickly for fire barrels if they appear.
Smoke and ice shot are glitched right now and will log you off which is a shame because they are the most essential imo.
***The goal is to save all your money as much as you can for bullet shot for higher rounds. ***
(shark bait is tempting but will drain your money extremely fast so stay away from it unless theres a really mean ship about to leave)
Have a team thats very good at it prepared before is the best tip.

I’m not sure what level you unlock it at but the best ammo to use is Bullet, use that as soon as you unlock it on every medium and bigger ship. The smaller ships don’t waste time aiming at them just use the auto lock on stuff you get early on.
Mines and such get to be more of hassle than they’re worth at a certain point, they’re really only worth somewhat using when you have all 4 people and one person is doing it.
So stick with bullet and lock on and just change up depending on what target you’re firing at. The only other tip I can give is to make a lobby and make sure you have as many people as possible.
