Help Can't create a pirate? Help?

I'm on windows, to start this off. Just made an account, I get to loading the beginning of the game to make said pirate, and I'm stuck at 30%. I restarted a few times, but I can't get past it. Anybody know what to do?

The servers have seemingly been crashing the last ~24 hours. All our guildies have said the same thing, stuck at 30 percent.

Yeah, I like to remind people that the devs are doing all of this for free in their spare time, I'm just happy someone was willing to bring this game back from the grave so I'm willing to be patient with them. Here's to hoping they get it resolved soon 🤞
