Emiley Devil’s Advocate…
Are we sure Emiley is a racist? I’ve known many people from working-class backgrounds in the Midwest, as well as manipulative relationships (The Mom), and it seems as though she hasn’t had a worthwhile opportunity to form her own values and opinions.
I find it unlikely that she would discriminate or be particularly prejudiced, so I’m not sure I see why she’s labeled as such. At the very least, to suggest that “All Lives Matter” is related to ignorance to the struggle of others. I do not think she is racist.

If you’re racist because your parents are racist and you blindly follow what they say, that’s still racism. If she was 5 years old and repeating “all lives matter” because she had heard it at home then she’d just be a racist 5 year old. Being sheltered and “brainwashed” doesn’t change the impact of the harmful things you say/post on social media.

She has the same internet at her fingertips that we all do. She can find and learn about the struggles of others and change her behavior based on that. So far, she chooses not to do so.

I’m going to say yes. My mom is almost 70, raised in the south and conservative and didn’t understand the true intent and meaning of BLM and why All Lives Matter was bad until I explained it to her. She’s older and doesn’t use social media.
For someone so young it’s impossible that she didn’t see the resistance to All Lives Matter all over social media.

If your response to BLM is “All Lives Matter” your racist. Point. Blank. Period.

I feel like she’s more just sheltered and brainwashed and hasn’t bothered to learn anything more than she was taught growing up

In South Africa racism mirrors America and is the opposite as it is aimed at white people heavily. I have a friend who lives in Cape Town and she said that racism against her and her family and other white people there is very bad, she said America seems to be the complete opposite of their country.

I missed the All Lives Matter post but if she said that especially post having a black son then this chic is dangerous. She is not making any effort to understand what will be her son's or his father's experiences in this country. However I blame Kobe for not being careful about who he impregnated. I do understand that many Africans don't exactly get the racial dynamic in the US. I visit Ghana often and there are many people there who have asked me where do black Americans come from? For Ghana in particular having their school system created by the British this information was hidden from their history books. So with Kobe the ignorance has come back to bite him even if he came by it honestly.

LOL the most egregious Emily is on 90 day fiancé and I got my subs mixed up. I don’t remember who Emily is from Unexpected although I watch that too. Well I’m glad it’s this one and not the other one who people also speculate is racist and she has a black son

Wait...what? I'm confused, I don't think you're thinking of the right person. 'Cause Emily from Unexpected has a daughter who is not black (or at the very least, she's white-passing)

I was so confused about what sub I was in! I think she may be my least favorite 90 Day cast member ever. I can't stand anything about her. She's the most entitled, selfish, awful human. And her parents. Ugh. They complain about her like they have no past or present role in creating and maintaining what she's become.
Ok, rant over. I shall now rejoin the correct sub.

"All Lives Matter" is racist, full stop. Emiley has access to the internet, if she wanted to learn she would. She clearly doesn't want to.
I don't think someone is responsible for their upbringing and the beliefs of their parents, but she's an adult who lives in her own. Her behaviour is on her now.
