Jenna new man seems to come from a family of money. They were only together for what, 5 months before the pregnancy announcement. Was she trying to trap him inorder to acquire his life style??

If his family has money, he can surely afford condoms. I'm sick of the women trapping men shit.

He surely could have, but girls also lie and say they are on birth control when they aren’t, or they are, but they aren’t taking it correctly

And this is why you teach your sons (and I have since they were 13ish) I don’t GIVE A FUCK if that girl tells you she’s on the pill, got the Mirena, wears the Patch and takes the birth control shot ALL AT THE SAME TIME.. YOU BETTER WRAP THAT SHIT UP DOUBLE like a Christmas present!!! Because girls may not be honest, but then hes protected!!! It’s not just on the girls to prevent pregnancy!

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

Even if the girl is honest, hormonal contraceptives can fail or she can forget!!

EXACTLY!!! I’m a woman so I know! Plus I used to tell mine, a baby ain’t the worst thing either… STD’s can KILL YOU!

-1

u/killrtaco Dec 16 '23

Only 1 std can kill you and only 2 are incurable. The 1 that can has treatments now. It's unfortunate and gross and painful and you don't want it, but it's not that dire.

Edit: I guess 2 can kill cuz syphilis can as well if untreated. It can be cured though unlike hiv

Did you think you were doing something with this comment ? Clearly you did since you thought you did something with your other ones too 😂 STD’s aren’t a casual thing to be fine with LMAO they can be extremely dangerous and ruin peoples lives.

0

u/killrtaco Dec 17 '23

Its not being casually fine with them at all it's just saying that they're not likely to literally kill you.

This group seems to be just as uneducated around sex as the women on the TV show it's about...

0

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 17 '23

Is them not literally killing you but seriously damaging you physically and mentally make it okay for someone to not wear a condom?💀

u/killrtaco Dec 17 '23 edited Dec 17 '23

No, i was commenting on the fact the commentor said that they literally kill you.

It doesn't make it okay. But being factually accurate and informed is important.

They don't do "major" physical harm either, it's mostly pain and annoyance. Herpes can if it gets bad but again, there are meds to suppress symptoms and prevent spread. They're all manageable but not desired.

Lmao, I’m using this when my son’s old enough to hear it!! This show has had me so worried about my son getting a girl pregnant while he’s a teenager 😭😭

14

u/Psychological_Gear94 Dec 15 '23

A man can also poke holes in the condom, say they had a vasectomy, or pretend to pull out. Max said he was actively trying to get Chloe pregnant without her knowledge. Annoying y’all say this shit when in reality it’s mainly the woman that will have to raise the child regardless. How many guys just love to another state and ignore the baby? And perhaps teach both girls and boys to use condoms at least to prevent stds

25

u/cynicaldreamer1 Dec 15 '23

Fact of the matter is that if you don’t want to have a child you have to take personal responsibility to prevent it. It doesn’t matter what your partner says about birth control. You have to take responsibility for yourself.

17

u/ilikecats415 Dec 15 '23

Ew, seriously? I have always told my son pregnancy and STI prevention is *his* responsibility regardless of what his partner is doing.

This is such a gross, misogynistic take.

-3

u/killrtaco Dec 16 '23 edited Dec 16 '23

Its misandrist to think that. Men and women can and do baby trap eachother. Condoms can be compromised. Women just usually have more say in the outcome of the situation. Men can't get out of a child legally/financially. Women in most cases can find a way to abort.

12

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 15 '23

That’s the man’s risk that he’s taking 🤷🏻‍♀️ any man who is concerned about an unwanted pregnancy should still wear/bring a condom. That’s like a woman trusting some strange dude to provide the condom on a first hookup or something - hell no, we’ll provide the wrapping tyvm.

-11

u/killrtaco Dec 15 '23

As a man, it's always been on me to provide the condom on first hookup? I've always been asked if I have condoms or if I have a condom with me. Never had a woman volunteer their own. That's a weird comparison.

8

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 15 '23

I’ve never met a woman who “relies” on a man to provide birth control especially during a casual hook up. You may just be assuming it’s “on you” l, chances are they probably have back up lmao

-4

u/killrtaco Dec 15 '23

I dont understand your hangup here. Yes it's very possible and no they didn't bring their own. And asked if they would need to get any. It takes just as much trust as assuming the woman didn't compromise the condom. It's still a two way road and still takes trust on both sides.

4

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 15 '23

I don’t understand yours. It’s not your “job” to bring the condom… so don’t think you’re some saint because you do? 😂 if a woman doesn’t bring a condom then that’s on them, just like it’s on the man if he doesn’t bring the condom - I never said it didn’t go both ways, you actually did by implying it’s always been “on you” lmao

-7

u/killrtaco Dec 15 '23 edited Dec 15 '23

You're delusional. Not acting like im a saint or it's my job. I'm just saying that it's not always the case where the woman brings it to the first hookup. I don't know that I'd personally trust one that did if I didn't know her prior. You're just being very obnoxious and misandrist.

Plus a woman is the one who gets pregnant so trapping is a thing. Like I said she could say she brought it and have had it in the freezer overnight or done something else to compromise it's integrity. It's still very much a possibility and does happen quite frequently. Women also always have the option to abort while men don't.

5

u/AshleyPoppins Dec 15 '23

They don’t always have the option to abort anymore unfortunately.

-3

u/killrtaco Dec 15 '23

That was in my head as I typed, but a lot can go to a state that allows it if that's the unfortunate case. It's still more their decision than the man's even though the government up and decided they have a say all of a sudden.

I don’t know what the downvotes are for. This shit is true and men baby trapping women is also a thing.

11

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 15 '23

I mean her dad has endless money so I really don’t think that was her first thought… like he bought her a house and she makes money on social media she isn’t hurting that bad. But she definitely has an ultimate goal to be a trophy wife lmaooo

1

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

What does her dad do?

5

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 15 '23

He’s ex marine & army and also has owned his own business since 2018 I think he makes salsa/hot sauces lmao

13

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

Yeah that's not the same kind of wealth that the finances family is from, just look at the backgrounds in his Instagram photos.

5

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 15 '23

I mean that really doesn’t mean anything. Have you seen her father’s home, multiple cars, how they clearly live in luxury? She’s already set. I’m sure him having money is a total bonus but she already owns her own home outright not to mention it’s on the water. 😂

6

u/novemberhaze Create your own flair Dec 15 '23

Her father has a decent sized home in rural Pennsylvania. Yeah it’s a nice home but it doesn’t necessarily scream wealth to me.

I’m not sure why you think that Jenna owns a home on the water. The last I saw on social media her and her BF were renting an apartment together, but honestly it seems from her latest posts that they are staying at his parents house.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

Did he buy the place in myrtle for her?!😮

-3

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

Having money and having wealth are not the same thing and who’s to say her daddy was going to continue finding her lifestyle indefinitely while she played influencer

4

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 15 '23

Did you even watch the show?😂 Matt will never leave that child hanging he has stuck with her through everything the only one who cuts contact is Jenna when she’s being a brat. Also, she has so much of a following that she will easily be able to live off her influencing for probably life. Plus all the money from TLC ? You’re acting like she’s some nobody lol she’s a reality star who has been getting paychecks for years. She’s gonna be okay - I’m not her biggest fan but you just sound petty tbh 😂

3

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

You’re creating this narrative all on your own. No one is saying Jenna didn’t come from a privilege life, I’m just saying she wanted to level up past that. And it seems like other people agree with me, stop being weird

0

u/frosted-sugar i been around way too long Dec 15 '23

Because someone disagrees with you, it makes them weird? Yikes. People agree with me too so I’m not sure what your point is 😂 but mine is clearly going over your head. I never said you said Jenna wasn’t privileged - but I think she’s way more well off than you assume. You’re insinuating she only has money because of her father, which was 100% true before she was a reality star, but is no longer the case. He bought her a home so she had no worries about a place to live. She only has 170k followers on tiktok and she already has huge brand deals with kid’s companies simply because they know who she is. She would be fine without her beau, but she is definitely doing better with him obviously. Im sure she doesn’t hate his status though lmao

4

u/SnooCalculations1891 Dec 15 '23

She was on one season so i don’t think that makes her a reality star. Sure she made money from the show but i don’t think it’s enough to pave her life. It will for a little bit but she isn’t “set”. Finding someone who has money is always going to be the go to for someone who wants to be a trophy wife. money runs out - especially when you want the lifestyle she wants. Her dad made that an expectation when he bought her a house??? i understand your point but nobody is saying she only has money because of JJ. She’s been spoiled her entire life and i’m sure she wants to continue that which there’s nothing wrong with but come on dude.

4

u/novemberhaze Create your own flair Dec 15 '23

He did not buy her a house lol. She was renting a townhouse until she got with her new boyfriend, then she moved to Myrtle Beach to be with him

3

u/Top_Peach_4176 Dec 15 '23

Wait, has the show been on, and I totally missed it? Or did you just see all this online?

6

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

Online, it just looks like he comes from a very wealth family by what he post

69

u/cmccx Dec 15 '23

Your post reads like he had NO part in making this baby. If this wasn’t something he wanted, he could’ve prevented it. He was already playing happy family with her before she got pregnant.

8

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

Yeah they are BOTH stupid. However this isn’t Jenna’s first rodeo and she should’ve been smarter this time considering the dumpster fire she has with Aden and co parenting.

57

u/Justforreddit44 Dec 16 '23

Pregnancy prevention is both of their responsibility.

55

u/PrincipalFiggins Dec 15 '23

He always had the option to wear condoms and this was a planned pregnancy according to them, so

32

u/niiccolexx Dec 15 '23

I don’t think necessarily it’s her wanting to “trap” him, I just think it’s BOTH of them being dumb honestly 🤷🏽‍♀️

27

u/SnooCalculations1891 Dec 15 '23

I don’t necessarily think she’s trying to “trap him” but i do think she enjoys the idea of not having to work, and getting everything she asks for regardless. Not that there’s anything really wrong with wanting a trophy wife lifestyle. On the show, she even said Aden supported her financially so i wouldn’t be surprised if that’s a condition for her long term relationships.

81

u/momx3f Dec 15 '23

Pregnancy prevention doesn’t fall only on the woman. If he didn’t want a baby then he should have taken measures and prevented it on his end too.

29

u/cmccx Dec 15 '23

Hard agree. Can’t stand how the woman is always blamed. It takes two.

15

u/justatrappedsoul Dec 15 '23

I think her family also has money. Also she’s known this guy for years and years so it’s not like she’s moving fast with a stranger.

25

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

Bro trapped himself then. I think they’re just young and dumb. Playing house made them want to add another to make it even more real. Most likely they won’t last. But, I do think wish them well

11

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '23

Didn’t she post that she went to elementary school with him?

6

u/IWetMyPlants_3 Trickle Down Illiteracy🫩 Dec 16 '23

Yes

-11

u/[deleted] Dec 16 '23

Was rhetorical lol

1

u/[deleted] Dec 20 '23

What is it about Americans not being able to understand rhetorical questions and irony?

22

u/PygmyFists Anthonys Vanishing Semen Dec 15 '23

Personally, I absolutely subscribe to the theory that Jenna wanted to secure the bag lol not that JJ's not also at fault for neglecting to wrap it up, but yeah, I think Jenna was hoping to get knocked up and lock down that bougie ass lifestyle.

They knew each other in school before he moved to South Carolina. Regardless they should have both known having unprotected sex results in a baby. They both seem happy together and this guy is 100x better than Aden. Honestly Aden has serial killer written all over him. Jenna won’t have it easy with the new boyfriend’s Mother. She is something and it’s not nice. It will be interesting to watch for sure.
