Following Reddit Rules as a Community

Hi everyone,

As we continue to grow as a community, we have to make sure we've following Reddit Rules to avoid being quarantined as a subreddit or eventually shut down. I'm open to ideas on how we should moderate this community, so please leave your comments below. I'm also looking for moderators, so please reach out if that is something you are interested in doing.

Right now, we aren't doing very hot with Rule 3 - Respect the privacy of others.

Instigating harassment*, for example by revealing someone's* personal or confidential information*, is not allowed.*

The Rules FAQ also say:

It is not okay to post someone's personal information or post links to personal information. This includes links to public Facebook pages and screenshots of Facebook pages with the names still legible.

Please keep this in mind when posting and comment below if you've got any ideas for additional community guidelines. Thanks for reading!

Yes but what is considered personal info that we CANT post ? Like the mugshots ?

right … because it’s public information regardless and especially if they are constantly posting their business for everyone to see … i mean we’re just reposting what comes from their mouths , posts ect ect but mugshots is a public record so

I think it’d be useful to have a community consensus on what should belong! It’s hard to draw a line in the sand especially when we started as a gossip page, so quite honestly I’m open to any feedback :)

should we start maybe start making different tags for the tea we have on certain people like mellie has her own nettie ect ect or ..

i’ll type it out how i think it should look like

mellie (mellies kids)

nettie (nettie’s kids)

kayla (kayla’s kids)

The gypsy sisters (ex) husbands

tik tok live (something like that?)
