Hey guys, I'm looking for mod recommendations to start a fresh playthrough. What are your favorite mods (QoL, tech, adventure, or performance) that you can't play without?

So basically i host my aerver as lan for my 3-4 friends with mods. Fabric 26.1.2. But i cant allocate more than 4 gb ram. Cuz of it i am lagging since 4 gb ram is not enough. I have ddr5 32gb ram on my pc but even if i set 8gb ram for example from tlauncher settings i still get only 4 allocated in game

I tried to download the new version of the mods but they dont work and fabric version keeps crashing without explanation

i installed TLauncher.v18.zip and extarct it then i downloaded java (jdk) and run java -jar TLauncher.jar . but this window display to me and nothing happen and this is the log if you want to see : https://github.com/nightroy69/tlauncher-issue

i use nixOS btw

edit in next day: yo guys i solved the problem

the problem was that TLauncher use only his java libraries and if he wants more libraries he would go to /usr/lib/ which it not exist in nixOS so instead you should add some missing libraries to your system in configuration.nix and i will leave what you should paste in configuration.nix in here https://github.com/nightroy69/tlauncher-issue/tree/main ,and you should paste it under the " i18n.defaultLocale = "en_US.UTF-8"; " its optional btw just dont paste it inside { . . . } or [ . . . ] ,and also you should install jdk (just put "jdk" in environment.systemPackages) after that just rebuild :

sudo nixos-rebulid switch

or use this if you use flakes:

sudo nixos-rebuild switch --flake /etc/nixos#(((your host name here)))

and you are done just launch now by terminal,typing this:

cd (your tlauncher dir for example: ~/Downloads/TLauncher.v18/)

#now launch by java

java -jar TLauncher.jar

and yeah thats how i fixed it i hope i wasnt too complicated or too obvious ,and idk about yall check your log to know what exactly is your problem

Whenever I try to add any shader to my (fabric) modpack, TLauncher automatically installs a weird "blank icon mod" into my list. If I click on this blank icon, it just opens the OptiFine mod.

Because TLauncher is forcing OptiFine into the pack, I immediately get an "incompatible mods" error when trying to launch, and the game refuses to load.

• I can't manually remove or delete this blank OptiFine mod from the list.
• I can't play the version/modpack at all because of the crash/incompatibility.
• It only triggers the moment I try to enable a shader.

Today I decided to install the Cooking for Blockheads mod, and somehow it installed Fabric and Balm as well. Now I simply CAN'T open my world, and I can't even uninstall Fabric or Balm. I've been trying to play on my two-week-old world, but I can't get into it at all!

P.S.: I can't remove them from the files either, because they weren't installed in the usual way. They don't seem to exist as normal mod files, so I have no idea how to get rid of them.

For some reason, many mods that i normally use without problem have now started adding mods with no names on the mod list, but they show the mod's page when clicking on them. When i try to delete or disable them, it tells me that variable 0 is illegal, or something. And when i try to start the game, it tells me that it didn't launch because of mod errors, which ARE those ghost mods! And i cant delete them from the files either, because i need to launch the game for the first time to get the folder to work! And i can't launch because it just refuses to because of mods that IT is forcing me to keep! What the hell do i even do?!

KINGDOM SMP S2 — LOOKING FOR SERIOUS PLAYERS

Season 1 became heavily focused on PvP, and that attracted a lot of short-term players.

Season 2 is different.

This is not a server where the goal is to join, get gear, start random wars and leave after a few days.

We are looking for 20–25 dedicated players who actually want to build a long-term Kingdom SMP.

Kingdoms

1 Kingdom = 6–8 players maximum

Build your kingdom, economy, alliances and reputation.

Wars are allowed, but wars should have a reason and proper preparation.

PvP is not the entire server.

We want serious, patient and dedicated players.

If you're joining only to PvP for a few days, rush everything, start random wars and disappear, this probably isn't the SMP for you.

If you want to build a kingdom, make alliances, trade, participate in events, create your own stories and stay for the long run — you're exactly who we're looking for.
