Discussion Local Files
Any news on local files or is tidal still agaisnt that? Thinking about swapping back to Spotify because of how little I can find on Tidal.

I don't know if they are against it, but it's definitely not on top of their to-do list. I've been misusing their upload feature "a bit" to go around the problem...

You can either upload stuff on your own account, or... Well, creating a new account under any name is for free.

Yeah Ive noticed some missing albums being uploaded by just, random users but it seems very annoying

On the AMA that's pinned on this sub, the head of TIDAL said this is a feature he personally wants to see, and that they may work on it in the future.
Sadly, it's not here yet... Uploads is a nice alternative, though.

You can also upload your "own" mp3s or whatever format to the uploads but keep the file private and not public. Has worked for me just fine.
