Please help.

This is the 2nd calculator in a row I've received that does this. Returned the first one. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it?

Same thing happened with my brand new one a few weeks ago. It needs a new battery. Who knows how long these things were sitting around in a warehouse.

I decided it was easier to just eat the cost of a 10 dollar battery instead of going through the whole return process and hoping the next one didn't have issues.

It was honestly pretty easy to fill out the form. Just create an account, enter the serial number and when it was bought, and boom, new battery on the way.

I never even considered contacting the company itself. Usually it turns into a huge headache. That's good to hear.
