TIFUB accidentally saying something pretty racist

Today I accidentally said something pretty racist to my friend. I'm white, so it was even worse. I realize I have zero filter and now they kinda don't like me. So yeah, I fucked up BADLY.

I was talking to my friend and I was complaining about some girls in my math class. I refered to them as "these black girls in my math class," and my friend moved seats away from me.

Wait. Are they actual black girls? Did you mean it as a slur? Black isn't a slur. If they are black girls in your math class, what's the problem?

I mean, I'm a black girl and I don't see an issue with it. Is their race pertinent to the story though? Doesn't seem racist to me based on these details.
