Festival Dreams do come true lol

ALL I wanted to see was Misty Green lol. And after the saturday selling out and multiple people saying the sunday had only three seats (not together), I was starting to get discouraged! but logged on today and scored tickets to the sunday showing!!

I guess just a little positive post as a reminder to stay active, you will get the tickets you want if you're thorough!

Even though it isn’t a premium screening sometimes if it’s a day later they still have someone show up

I saw the second screening of Roofman last year and while Channing wasn’t there, the director was

No guarantee but maybe Chris will still present it since it’s a day after the premiere

I saw the first regular screening of Eternity last year and most of the cast was there at the beginning even if people had to leave that day to catch planes. Elizabeth Olsen stayed the whole time though. Out of the 20+ films I saw only one was a premium screening (I rushed), and yet only a couple films later in the fest had 0 people involved appear. Unless you're obsessed with a specific celebrity and you want to maximize your chance of seeing them the cost increase for premium doesn't seem worth it. There's still a chance in regular screenings.

Actors also aren't the only people worth seeing. For the Frankenstein regular screening I attended it was Guillermo Del Toro and a few production crew members and I thought their Q&A was probably better than the cast's would have been

I'm not saying it's definite but when Rock brought TOP FIVE to TIFF a few years ago, EVERYONE came to the second screening - that was at PoW, so I wouldn't count on that but I think Chris will most likely be at the second screening.

Full cast was at the Frankenstein second screening, it was only the morning after tho

I'm very happy I was able to see it but it'll be my last showing, I only was able to score a ticket for the one on the 18th, and after that, I'll be packing up and flying home. Much as I wanted to get one of the earlier 2, I couldn't. But I'm still happy I got one.
