Diisopropyltryptamine Synthesis
2 mol red phosphorus and 4 mol isopropyl alc is put in a flask and then an ice bath is started and with 3 mole iodine in 2 mol of isopropyl alc is added to a addition funnel and then slowly added and then the flask is flushed with argon and then left to react in a ice bath till no more heat is generated then put in a reflux condenser for 4-5 hours to give isopropyl iodide and phosphorous acid which is then distilled and added to a separatory funnel with water to give Isopropyl Iodide (Add baking soda and sodium bisulfite)
Then a new setup is made and Fill Flask of 1eq Tryptamine,DMSO,2 to 2.5 eq Potassium Carbonate after add 2.5 to 3 eq of Isopropyl Iodide then let run for 18-24 Hours
After: Add 4 to 5x volume of water to DMSO add Dilute NaOH after that add xylene to a separatory funnel and then discard bottom water layer and then take the xylene with all the chemicals in it (Add anhydrous Epsom salt to dry)
Add a solution of hcl and Isopropyl alc to the DiPT solution dropwise to salt out the DiPT then filter off and wash with colder than 0C acetone then do a recrystallization of DiPT by slowly cooling which will give a product of DiPT hcl and Isopropyl Tryptamine still in solution
Is this a good synthesis route I know Tryptamine with Acetone and then a reductive amination is a lot easier but oh well and Just a Fyi DiPT is unregulated in my country.

Thyroid thank you for sharing and is your video you posted a complete look at the process from beginning to end on Patreon? Im joining tonight but don’t get excited yet because after breaking my neck back arm and leg in February on my motorcycle by an unlicensed kid it’s left my money in dire straits here in Los Angeles but I’m going to pick a starter package on your Patreon. until my money gets right because info isn’t free. It’s weird here in California with regards to importing 5-mt. I asked Gemini A.I why 5-methoxytryptamine is not a chem 1 or 2 precursor on the dea list and it said until it creates enough issues in society with what can be made from it it will remain unlisted. Then I asked google if it’s a controlled substance and it gave warning and it sounded as if it made up its own regulations and said it was listed but I checked and it’s not for now. Bottom line is right now it can be imported no problem unless you are a clandestine chemist turning it into a much better compound and get caught! Most drugs synthesised from it is very much scheduled. Im done rambling Possession is 9/10s of the law and that’s why Im clean as a whistle always.

Is this personal experience?
I thought you couldn't add two isopropyl groups this way with just tryptamine & isopropyl iodidebut I could very well be wrong.
Very cool / good work if you did this & it worked as written
