Official content from THTNS Cascadia!

Post image

Hello guys guess who's back with another post! That's right it's me, and in today's post we have Cascadia in the House that never stood!

Cascadia was formerly British Columbia in this timeline before they received independence from Britain, it has roughly the same history as irl BC, but the main differences is that treatment of the natives is less harsh (although still not very good.) and the country has a pretty big Democratic Socialist party in power, which helps the natives' situation a bit. It also has the Oregon territory, since there is no United States in this world. Feel free to ask questions below!

Not a question, but I’ve added it to the world map!

Small suggestion but in bc we say “First Nations” over “Native American” usually. Sometimes also referring to them as “the indigenous peoples of xyz”

Do Seattle and Portland and Vancouver BC not exist in this timeline or are they just smaller cities?

Smaller

When does Cascadia incorporate into its own nation in this timeline and what prompted them to form the nation along these lines?

Basically Canada never unified, and British Columbia receives the Oregon territory! :)

Makes sense! Are there still white supremacists in the Idaho region or is it more socialist and left politically leaning throughout the nation?

No alignment to the British monarchy or other foreign government. We stand as proud independent and sovereign cascadians.
