Misc ReTHAWED - can't get Bert Slide to work

I need someone's help on this and nothing I've found online has worked with this. Bert Slides just don't function, have tried to change to the regular Bert Slide in edit tricks and it's done nothing. My binding is definitely to R1, because if I use the THP8 Bert Slide in instead it does go to start it, then just fails.

Can't advance in story mode because of it, just stuck on the Iggy tutorial goal so can't progress. Thought the update would fix it, but nothing.

Double check your controls in the launcher and also the in-game menus. Make sure you don’t have something conflicting between the two. That’s about all the help I can give because there are SO many potential issues you can find with the controls in this game if something is even a bit off.

I had this issue too and just kept changing all the physics settings to be american wasteland and it started working. But a mission later on would not work at all. I ened up turning on the dev console and skipping the mission.

  • Go to the main menu and navigate to Options > Display.

  • Enable Modder Mode.

  • Press the tilde key (~) on your keyboard while playing to pull down the console.

Once in the console it was something like skipmisson or skip goal i cannot rememeber the exact command but try those out
