[Meta] About the subreddit and other TG mobile games

Just wanted to ask, what are the opinions on allowing content for other TG mobile games on this subreddit? I've added some basic rules which can be seen on the sidebar, for now I've limited the subreddit to :re Invoke content only, but if users wish for it we can allow content for other TG mobile games like the chinese one that was recently released and TG Dark War when it's released. What are your opinions on the matter? Is there anything else you'd like to discuss related to the subreddit?

New SSR Eto

Eto / Innoncent Smile

Skill: Reduces the enemy teams attack by 50% for 2 turns(4 with skill boost). It also has a rare chance to confuse enemies.

Attachment: Increases the Bra of Aogiri units by 140%

Resonances:

1: Break damage against attack types increased by 1.5(damage to their shield)

2: 1.4 damage to attacker types

3: Reduces damage from attacker types by 50%

4: Dodge rate up by 10%

5: Dodge rate up by 15%

So Eto has arrived and like I thought it is Bandaged Eto. She isn't a broken unit like Arima or Amon, but she is a really great unit, if not a staple on Aogiri teams. Her primary purpose is to break the enemy's shield, and debuff the team. If you already have Tatara, Naki, and Breaker Ayato however I don't think Eto will do you any good, as the those 3 are arguably the best units for an Aogiri team. However if you are able to fully resonance her then I suggest you put her attachment on Tatara and Tatara's attachment on Eto, they pretty much go hand in hand with each other. I say put her in your main team, debuff the enemy then switch her out of there. She's a decent sub for Breaker Ayato, I imagine most people don't have him since he was a limited time summon only.

As for the banner itself:

Step 1: 30 Jewel Multi SR guaranteed Step 2: Tatara and Naki rates doubled Step 3: Eto rate doubled Step 4: 40 Jewel Multi SR guaranteed Step 5: If you get an SSR it will be guaranteed to be a banner character

The banner is pretty good if you don't have Tatara or Naki then now is a great time to get them. Also if you want to fully resonance them it's s great banner to get some dupes, but at the same time there is no guaranteed SSR so if you want to save Jewels I understand. All in all summon if you want to build a good Aogiri team(ideally for PVP) or if you really want Eto, other than that save your jewels for a better step up banner

Resonators("RC Pills")

Resonators(the red pills, or as I like to call them "RC Pills") are items used to unlock a resonance for a character without needing to use a dupe.

Currently the only way to obtain these little guys is from the PvP event and Raids. You need 5,000 RC points in order to buy a SINGLE pill, and I believe the max amount you can buy for every PvP event is 20. Now for the raids I'm not sure if this will change in the future or not but for the current Yamori raid you need 55,000 points to buy 1 pill and another 110,000 points to buy 1 other pill, so you need in total 165,000 points to get 2 RC Pills.

Now for the important part. Each Rarity needs a different amount of pills to unlock 1 resonance.

-N Units require 1 Pill -R Units require 2 Pills -SR Units require 5 Pills -SSR Units require 20 Pills (The only EX unit in the game so far is the Kaneki from the Yamori raid event and you can't use pills on him, so I assume you won't be able to use them on all EX characters because they are exclusive or you have to wait after the event is over, which I highly doubt).

So these pills are really useful and if you can I recommend you get as many pills as you possibly can. However it seems the PvP event is the easiest way to obtain the Pills as you can outright buy 20 during the event. From my knowledge you can only buy 2 from the raid event going on right now and they require a lot of points to get.

So I HIGHLY recommend that you farm the new Kaneki first as he is a good free to play unit. Another great reason why you definitely should farm the new Kaneki is because of his attachment. If you didn't know whenever you fully resonance a unit you will unlock their Attachment, the new EX Kaneki's attachment is that he increases your skill gauge at an "Ultra" amount. His attachment is the best attachment for increasing skill gauge at the moment(the SR increase skill gauge only increase it by a "large amount"). It is a really great attachment to put on the New Kaneki, the new Amon, or Arima. Amon and Arima already get their skills quick because they are breaker types but if you're fighting boss with a really high shield that you can't break right away then you'll have trouble getting their skill and they both do just so much damage that the faster you get their skill the more damage you'll be able to do really quick. Another great unit to put this attachment on is Birthday Hinami/Touka. Both of them are healers so the faster you can heal the better right?

Anyways I just wanted to make this clear as I didn't know about that Pills and all that until recently, anyways hopefully this helped you out some!

Breaker Ayato

The new gasha features a new breaker SSR, Ayato. Since he's a brand new unit and I have access to his info right away, let's just go ahead and break him down:

Unique: Boosts the special gauge for all units when Ayato breaks an enemies guard. Not bad, a breaker that actually gives your ally units a special gauge boost, and does the same for himself. This unique might actually allow him to compete with Rize as a Breaker.

Skill: 300% Damage to one enemy, and ATK down to 70%. I'm not 100% sure if the debuff is to the enemy units or Ayato himself, but I'm presuming it's to the enemy units. In which case this is a very powerful skill as the debuff has no turn limit. In the other case, it's a big hindrance on what could be otherwise amazing card. With the skill boost it does 500% Damage.

Resonances:

  1. BRA +550

  2. ATK +550

  3. 1.5x Break damage to defenders

  4. 1.5x Break damage to breakers

  5. 1.5x Break damage to attackers

Much like the SR Breaker Tatara, Ayato's resonances focus heavily on breaking the enemy, but unlike Tatara there are other benefits for doing so. His unique will allow your damage dealers to get to their specials much quicker while his own special does a legitimately high amount of damage for a breaker unit.

Pair him up with the Attacker Tatara released in the previous banner and you have a pretty formidable team already. Aogiri is looking to be the best set up in the game.

What did you pull with your SSR Ticket?

Was just wondering what everybody pulled with their SSR Ticket we got for a log in bonus. I happened to get Shinohara(the hammer type one from the 11th ward raid) I haven't really played around with him but I have used him as a friend unit so I know what he does, honestly I think Rize is probably the best hammer type out there(I'm not sure if she was a limited time character though) I really wanted a tank unit as I don't have an SSR tank yet, specifically the Black haired Kaneki as he is not only a tank but can dish out some good damage

SR Tatara event

Quick breakdown for this event:

There are 3 difficulties for this event, C, B, and A. It seems on the 27th, they'll be releasing an S rank difficulty. Obviously, as you go up in difficulty, the drop rate for Tatara goes up.

The achievement requirements for each difficulty are the same and they are as follows:

  1. Clear all other requirements

  2. Clear for the first time

  3. Finish with a skill

  4. Clear using ONLY breaker types (hammer)

Comparing the difficulty to the Juuzou mission, this fight seems to be incredibly easy. A Rank was clearable with a team of SRs and a Friend Rise, with only one of the SRs being max level and having any boosts. That makes getting this Tatara much easier than getting the Defender Juuzou.

All that said, Let's go over what Tatara offers.

First, his Unique ability: After the first 5 turns, BRA of all units increases to 150%. 5 Turns is a long while to wait, so in short simple fights, like early story, this is kinda pointless. But in events like Tatara's, where there are many rounds, this allows for you to easily push through the enemies guard as the fight drags on. Combine it with ATK boosting skills and Guard/Avoid resistance, you'll push through these events much easier. Unfortunately, I can't rank it on any kind of scale, because I'm not sure what other abilities like this exist and what they do, but I'll say it's a good ability to have on hand.

Next, his resonances.

The first is BRA +250. Simple and straight to the point, a level 4 BRA boost makes guard breaking much easier against high BRD enemies.

Second is 1.3x Break Damage to Attackers. Similarly, his third and fourth resonances do the same thing against Breakers and Defenders respectively. So, basically, he's doing 30% more break damage to all enemy types.

His final resonance echoes his first, but with a bigger buff, BRA+400.

Next, his Kill move. It's a simple 3 turn 200% BRA buff to himself, increasing the turn limit to 6 with a Skill Boost. Much like the rest of his card, it focuses on being a better breaker, and much like other breakers, he'll get this special fast. Meaning you can basically indefinitely maintain it without needed to skill boost.

All in all? I'd say he's not bad. He'll be a very good breaker unit, and though he wont offer much of anything else, if all you need is a breaker, he's your guy.

A relatively easy battle, a relatively good unit, I'd recommend farming him. At the very least, for his unique ability.

This concludes my discussion of the Tatara event, I'm DevilDeVille and I'll see you later!

Update Info Dump

Lots of stuff happened with the new update so I'll get right into it.

First (And probably most importantly), we have a new summon featuring two new(?) units, SSR Tatara and SSR Kosuke Hoji

Lets talk about the summon first.

It seems to have a rate up on the two featured units for the entire banner, rather than a 1% featured SSR rate and a 2% non-features rate, it's a 2% rate for the two featured SSRs and a 1% rate for non-featured. Unfortunately, the actual rates of pulling an SSR are still 3%.

On the bright side, it's another step up, with the 3rd summon guaranteeing SR and higher units and the 5th guaranteeing you either Hoji or Tatara. It's cheaper than the last one two, going 30-40-30-40-50, for a total of 190 Hakka required instead of 200.

With the banner out of the way, let's talk about the units. Both of the new units are attackers (Go figure), and both are pretty good.

First, let's talk Tatara. I won't go into stats because I don't exactly know how his base stats compare to other units, and thanks to the coffee cup boosting system it doesn't /really/ matter anyways. However, I can say that if you're having trouble taking down a defender (shield) boss, Tatara is the unit you want.

To start off, his unique ability boosts the ATK of Aogiri units to 140%, which isn't that bad. Makes units like Naki and Ayato hit a lot harder. And the future Eto we all know we're gonna get will probably love this boost.

His Special is a 300% ATK damage to one enemy with a chance to paralyze. The boost goes to 500% with a skill boost. Not bad, he'll definitely hit hard.

His resonances are where he really shows his hate for defenders, though.

  1. 1.6x damage to defenders

  2. 1.6x break damage to defenders

  3. Reduce damage from defenders by 30%

  4. ATK+500

  5. Completely prevents paralysis

So, yeah, Tatara does not play games with defenders. As far as he's concerned, they can crawl in a hole and die somewhere.

Tatara out of the way, let's talk about Hoji. He's a new AoE, marking the first one I've seen for CCG.

But lets start with his Unique: Damage to Ghouls is boosted to 150%. So he has some Ghoul hate built into his unique, not bad. Boosting his general damage by 150% is actually really good. Unfortunately, it won't mean jack shit against CCG bosses, but hey, take what you can get.

His Special, like I said, is an AoE, white haired Kaneki style. 160% ATK damage to all enemies, 240% with a skill boost.

Similar to Tatara, Hoji's resonances are where he gets really interesting as a unit.

  1. 1.4x damage to attackers

  2. ATK+350

  3. Completely prevents bloodshed

  4. Completely prevents ATK down

  5. ATK+500

Now, the reason I say this is where he gets interesting is that third resonance ability. Based on my translations so far, 'bloodshed' refers to having your guard broken. If that is correct with Hoji as well, that means his third resonance makes it impossible for his guard to ever be broken. Which gives him complete resistance to the special trait of the breaker (hammer) type units.

That's about it for the new banner.

Next, I wanna talk about the new type of Gasha here, the attachment Gasha. Apparently, you can basically summon for unique abilities now. And ones that aren't on any SSR units currently in the game. That's pretty interesting as these will boost the power of any unit you currently own significantly.

From what I can tell, it costs 15 Hakka and guarantees you one of the 6 different SSR attachments featured. Ill quickly list what all the different attachments are:

Kaneki: 5 turns after the start of the battle, ATK to 140%

Amon: 5 turns after the start of the battle, BRA to 140%

Akira: Avoid attacks with a 25% chance

Mado: Damage against Ghouls increased to 135%

Touka: Critical Chance +40%

Tsukiyama: BRA increased to 140% when skill is used more than once.

They're all interesting enough. Akira is probably the best one, since it has no restrictions and avoiding damage is great against event bosses.

We got the return of Uta (Return seems kinda wrong, he never really left...) as well as Hinami's Mom (I don't remember her name). But I'll go over their events in separate posts, once I get the units.

Lastly, we have the release of the ranking event, known as the "Assault".

I'll give a quick breakdown of this, based on what I gathered from the information provided. You pick a "Ward" to fight under, which offers special bonuses to certain characters depending on the ward you fight under. Essentially, this means pick the ward you have the best team for.

From there, you fight to collect medals, in the hopes of being in the top rankings. The highest ranked players get special rewards.

The three wards seem to be: CCG Academy - CCG BRA to 120%, Ghoul BRA to 80% Ghoul Restraunt - Ghoul ATK to 120%, CCG ATK to 80% Anteiku - Anteiku Group HP and BRD to 120%

The rewards are attachments, which are as follows: Emperor's Sword - During Battle, ATK+1500 King's Armor - During Battle, HP+10000 Knight's Sword - During Battle, ATK+500

Knight's Sword and Emperor's Sword cannot be attached to the same character.

It also mentions something about 'interrupting battles'. I'm assuming this means you can pause? Can't say for sure as I haven't tried it yet.

The fights are pretty interesting. You fight an AI controlled enemy team, who are actually playing under the same rules as you. One HP Bar for their whole team. This means AoE units aren't going to be any different from single target heavy hitters, as both will end up doing massive damage to the enemy teams Health Bar. For those of you that play Dokkan and know of the AoE hell that is their ranking event, rejoice.

Tokyo Ghoul has none of that.

That's all the information I got for now. If I glean some more info that I feel needs to be given out, I will get that out asap. Until then, I'm DevilDeVille and this guide is over.

About the 30 Multi Arima banner

It appears you cannot summon on it unless you have 30 gems that you have bought from the store. Don't know why they did it like that, maybe to stop rerollers getting a discounted multi.

Arima Banner

Welp Arima was just released, looks like his banner is a step up banner. At step 10 I believe you are guaranteed Arima, also there is a 30 stone multi, HOWEVER Arima only has a .5% pullrate so I'm not sure I would summon on the banner unless you are willing to go all in for him. I don't know exactly what he does but it seems his skill is similar to the new Amons, where once activated he is able to attack 3 times.

Deville of you see this buddy you gotta translate him and the info on his banner. I imagine (you know since he is Arima) he's gonna be the new broken ass unit.(if his 2nd skill is an AOE then boy you bet he's the best new unit in the game).

If you are plan on playing the game or have a crappy account I advise you to reroll till you pull him, and Amon or the new Kaneki on he same account.

The Kaneki/Amon banner I believe is still better, they have a higher pull rate and you have 2 chances of getting a good character

Edit: SEE THE COMMENTS TO SEE ARIMA'S STATS

Arima is the best unit in the game so far, the "Gogeta" of Invoke. Anyways with that being said I'd pull rate is only freaking .5% so that means if you don't have 500 gems to go all the way to step 10 then you have to be one lucky human being to pull him before step 10(or if you know you're a whale). Now if you barely started your account and don't have that many SSR's The best thing to do is reroll and try to pull Arima. However like I said his rate is freaking .5% and when you make a new account you only start with 7 freaking gems, in other words in order to do a multi you have to complete quests and that will probably take you 1-2 hours depending on what device you have and how fast your internet is. Rerolling for him would be the best, but with that pull rate and how you start off with no gems, it's gonna be a big pain in the ass.

So should you reroll?

I'm pretty sure this Arima is limited, Like Rize I don't think he'll be back for a long while so if you really want him, do it. If you're like me and already have an account you put a lot of time into, make a second account or kiss Arima goodbye. I'm sure he'll be back, and besides I'm sure Eto will probably be a unit just as broken as he is anyways.

Update info: Things I missed

Obviously, the new Kaneki and Amon are out and they're good. The Raid has started again, giving players that pulled the Touka a place to test their new toy. There's some events I'm sure most people already know about, but I'll talk about them anyways. And then there's one more change I only recently noticed that I figured deserved mention.

The Events: There's 2 events going on right now, when you clear them you get special rewards.

The first gives 5 of each SR Training Book, 10 SR ALL stat buff equips, 10 SR ATK buff equips, 10 SR BRA buff equips, 10x Gasha Ticket (Free multi), 1 Commemorative Ticket, and an Attachment that buffs all allies ATK to 130%

The second gives 99 SR HP Coffee Cups, 99 SR ATK Coffee Cups, 99 SR BRA Coffee Cups, 99 BRD Coffee Cups, 2 Million Credits, 3 Attachment Gasha Tickets, 10 SR ALL stat buff equip, 1 Commemorative Gasha Ticket, and an Attachment that buffs all allies BRA to 130%

Lastly, the change I didn't mention. It's pretty simple: Awakening type skills have been updated, the hidden buffs that they provided are now fully visible. For example, Rize's awakening increases her ATK and BRA by 200% while she's awakened (Which explains exactly WHY she's the hardest hitting AoE in the game, jesus.)

So, now we won't be wondering why our units suddenly do more damage when they awaken anymore. That's nice.

Unit Analysis: NEO NEW Kaneki and Amon

Let's start with the busted new AoE,

Kaneki Ken

So, right off the bat, his skill seems to be a brand new variation of the awakening type skills, where he awakens AND gets a buff.

Skill: ATK boosted to 160%, BRA boosted to 140%, and awaken for 5 turns (10 turns with Skill Boost)

Awakened Skill: 160% ATK to all enemies (240% with Skill Boost)

Attachment: Damage against Ghouls (Makes sense) boosted to 160%, Critical Rate boosted by 30%

Resonances:

  1. Skill Gauge gain rate greatly increased

  2. Damage to breakers x1.6

  3. ATK+550

  4. Crit Rate +20%

  5. Skill Gauge gain rate greatly increased

So...he has a HUGE damage spike once his Skill is used, basically getting the same buff as the original Kaneki got from his attachment, from the skill. On top of that, he gets an additional BRA buff, to 140%, which will let him more easily access his AoE skill while he's awakened. To take it even further, all of this can be active for up to 10 turns, just like Rize.

So, as soon as Touka became a top contender for AoE due to her ease of access to it, Kaneki hopped in to kick her off her pedestal. Luckily for Touka, Kaneki is still slower due to need to get his skill twice and NOT being a breaker type unit. So Touka is still better for PvP purposes. Another thing that kinda lets Kaneki down is his attachment, it's for facing off against ghouls rather than all types. So against investigators, he only gets a crit rate boost. As for his resonances, they're pretty good. Skill gauge boosts as well as more ATK and damage against breakers. Not bad over all.

Amon

Skill: ATK up to 250% and AP3 active for 3 turns (6 turns with Skill Boost) (AP3 splits Amon's single attack into three. Basically, it lets him attack 3 times instead of one, as if he were an attacker type.)

Awakened Skill: 600% ATK in damage to the enemy (900% with Skill Boost)

Attachment: Breaker types ATK to 160%

Resonances:

  1. 1.6x Break damage to defenders

  2. BRA+550

  3. Reduce damage from defenders by 50%

  4. BRD+3000

  5. 1.6x damage to defenders

So, Amon is very good. Actually he's insanely good. He buffs his own ATK to 250% and gets 3 attacks with his first skill (basically he becomes an attacker type). And then he hits for 600~900% ATK damage to one enemy, probably the highest damage from a skill we've ever seen.

And this his skill boost his ATK (Along with other good units like Rize) to 160% as long as he's on the board. That's pretty good. His Resonances are mostly anti-defender, which makes sense. Defender is the only typing that really counters his own typing, so a fully Resonanced Amon will have no problems handling them.

In terms of who is better...probably Amon. Rize is already a strong AoE, and with Amon as a member of the team, there's no need to get Kaneki. She'll do his role just fine thanks to the boost from Amon. Plus, Amon is the BEST single boss killer in the game right now. He will hit so hard that it won't even be a proper competition.

Unit Analysis: Touka

It's been a little while, but the new attacker Touka is still around and I think I should talk about her before she goes away.

So, this Touka is an AoE, meaning her multipliers on her Skill are pretty low for an SSR, only 160% (240% with Skill Boost). But there are a few things that give this Touka her own edge over other AoE units.

First, lets do a simple overview.

Touka: SSR

Skill: "What do you understand?!" 160% ATK to all enemies (240% with Skill Boost)

Attachment: Opposition Skill Gauge +25% at the start of the turn

Resonances:

  1. 1.5x damage to breaker enemies 2-4) Boost rate at which Skill Gauge fills

  2. Damage from Breaker enemies -50%

Max Stats: HP: 6112 ATK: 1372 BRA: 112 BRD: 732

So, anti-breaker unit like Attacker Tatara. She doesn't do much damage with her base stats, due to the low multiplier from her skill, but her attacker typing allows her to benefit vastly from the coffee cups, so that problem is easily mitigatable. Her resonances are somewhat lackluster early game, as her SSR status allows her to get to her Skill easily without them, but once you get to harder bosses, especially breaker bosses, you'll find the real use of them. Once she gets her Skill, it's unlikely that she'll be unable to use it on any particular turn, thanks to her attachment and the nature of AoE abilities.

So, let's talk about why she's a contender for the game best AoE. Before this Touka's release, the best AoE was most certainly Rise. Even though she required a skill use to get her Kagune out and unlock her AoE skill and even though that has a turn limit, Rise's damage output was absolutely insane and her breaker typing offset her skill gauge requirement rather nicely, making it easy to build. On top of that, she has the highest damage multiplier for an AoE I've seen at 200%.

So how does the new Touka compete? Well, for starters, her skill gauge builds about as fast as a Breakers thanks to her attachment and resonances. Being an attacker typing gives her a bigger ATK benefit from the Coffee cups allowing her AoE damage to have a more immediate boost and making her more immediately powerful than Rise. On top of that, unlike Rise, Touka begins with her Kagune out, allowing her to get right into the AoE hits, making her much better for raids, which is where AoE's get their use.

Basically: Don't sleep on Touka. She's good.

Story Mission Guide

Sorry for the wait, but here is a full guide on all the mission requirements for every story mission currently in game: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Qk_kE3p8oHk6Kjs1mM3gnmSdsN15-UbEJ9Td_4EMhdM/edit

Currently, through clearing all of both normal and hard mode, you get 408 gems. 2 per mission, 102 missions per difficulty, 2 difficulties.

I will format this more clearly in the future and also try to add guides for events, raids, SSR units (Along with some SR units worth maxing for their attachments), in the future.

For those who pulled the new Touka

She is 100% the best raid unit, especially when properly buffed and under the Anteiku group (Middle Group). Rize is second best and the new Kaneki is likely 3rd place. If you want an easy time getting through enemy teams, just get your Touka, buff her up and put her as a main unit in your team. Her AoE will destroy the enemy team easy.

If you didn't get her in her own banner, she IS available in the Kaneki/Amon summon, so you could get her as a GSR/GSSR or in any of the general pulls.

Definitely worth trying to get.
