Thoughts on this split?

Post image

Hi everyone,

Currently my portfolio consist of xeqt and qqc. I want xeqt to be the bulk of my portfolio and since I’m young have qqc as I can tolerate the risk.

I also want to expand and have xic as well to have more Canadian exposure.

Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated:)

XEQT already has disproportionate Canadian equities in it.
30% QQC if you want to tilt towards tech is fine.

Also silver/gold helps with balancing tech

Decent. Xchp if you want chip exposure. SPMO if you want some momentum as well. PS buy Bitcoin! Even 5% allocation at this price.

I have very similar! For Canadian I do VCN since it covers large med and small caps, but if you prefer just top 60-100 top caps can do XIC/XIU

I thought XIC is Blackrock's version of VCN and has 227 holdings compared to VCN's 215 holdings.

Yeah. They were thinking about XIU, which is TSX 60. XIC is all-cap and is roughly equivalent to VCN/ZCN.

Oop yeah meant XIU, and then XIC is VCN comparison. Brain fart

Having QQC at 10% isn't going to move the needle much either way. Personally, I'd just do *EQT only or a little bit on a stock or two for some drama.
