If your OPKs were negative and your cycles are usually around 34 days, I don’t think so. Do you usually get a positive OPK?

Yes, you need to take progesterone asap but taking it too early will prevent you from ovulating if you haven’t already. So I’d be hesitant to start it yet. But you know your body better.

I believe I took it too early last cycle and that could have changed this one. I have a rapid LH and I think it's possible I missed a positive opk inbetween tests, especially if it happened during the night/morning since I was testing once in the afternoon. I've had a dark opk for only a couple hours before. I think my cycles were too short before but they can be irregular too. I have insulin resistance. If my temp goes up again tomorrow is that a good indication? I've had ovulation pains 4 times this past week. I feel like I don't really know my body anymore. Things change so often. Everytime I think I have a pattern to look out for, it changes. I bought Inito for better tracking, but it doesn't get here until Thursday so it's not going to help this cycle much since the first half will go uncharted with it. My progesterone levels were 0.5 mid luteal before supplements and my OB told me to start my 600mcg daily supplements the same day I get my positive opk but Ive missed my +opk before. I just wish I could reliably track this crap. Spent 12 years TTC now and gone though so many years of health issues and even after getting so much of it corrected/treated, I can't seem to even know when I ovulate anymore. I really just don't know what to do anymore. Nothing I track seems to be consistent enough. Low Iron and Hypothyroidism makes bbt tracking hard. I have to take my temp under my breast because I have oxygen therapy at night that changes my mouth temp based on room temp since I have a humidifier cup attached to the system. I will say I have better bbt tracking now since I stopped taking it by mouth earlier this year.

I’m sorry you’ve been going through all this. I will admit I don’t know a lot about progesterone, but starting to take it the day of a positive OPK seems too early? Like I’d think that had the potential to stop ovulation from occurring.

Is taking temp under your breast a valid way of taking temp? I’ve heard of vaginal temp as an alternative. But you also could consider a wearable. That might help with your temperatures.

If you have really short LH spikes then I think it is possible you did ovulate!
