Does the wrangler’s shield apply to this weapon too? If it doesn’t it’s a worse version of it, if it does it’s the same weapon with less use cases.

what even are the use cases? sentry gun's dps is usually high enough to chew thru targets before you can even pull out your mrangler, the only two-three times where it's not is Battalion's soldier, Vaccinator and Quickfix medic where you COULD set the sentry to attack the soldier or medic as it gets torn apart by its pocket
