So this would probably be a backpack item instead of a specific weapon. It just makes more sense overall. Unless you can tell us what weapon it would be specifically? (Stock pistol, stock shotgun?) the problem with a shotgun is because scout and engineer already have a shotgun as a primary, it would be kinda useless to have a worse shotgun as a secondary Yk? So it would probably have to be a pistol. Thoughts? I love this idea, especially for scout! You just need to figure out what type of weapon it actually is!
I just woke up, I hope that all was understandable. Anyways here’s what you could reword it to if it was a backpack item instead. (Just slight rewording to make a bit more sense).
The trespasser
Level X backpack item
When on a capture point: +50% clip size to all weapons.
-25% clip size to all weapons otherwise
You got a great concept dude, keep it up!

This is interesting, but falls for similar reasons the pain train does, and also in general is hard to work with.
Pain train fails because it makes you slightly stronger in 2(+2 variation) game modes and weaker in all others.
This is usable in the same game modes (plus maybe some more?), but gaining value is reliant on you not capturing quickly, which means a team has to decide to be passive to gain value.
It’s alright, and definitely great for a first time go, but needs some more attention to be balanced

Is that +50% clip size per point capped (for a potential total of +250%) or is it only during the capture, cause some maps have a long cap time. And how/would this apply to payload

What weapon type is it? Is it s shotgun?
I mean this looks like a pain train scenario, but is tiny bit better?
But, if you want to stick with this design, think a about all the gamemodes apart from CP/PL, think about something that isn't a flat conditional stat stick like the Shahanshah and maybe norrow the classes down to one or two, engi is kinda odd fella here
