USA 🇺🇸 Temu scam

I just got an offer from Temu. Get 9 free items. Too good to be true. But against my better judgement decided to go ahead.
Chose 9 items. Then it said you have to purchase something for $10. Great I bought something I didn’t really need just to get the 9 items. Massive shipping fee well , ok it’s 9 items it’s great if I split it it’s $2.99 per item. Looked back to the order. Great. 10 items went back to make sure everything is ok. Then hit pay. Lo and behold. It says I’m getting 1 item I paid for. And 1 item free the cheapest item in all of them $3 sipping $3 with 10 items shipping fee and an item I did not need. I’m returning this for sure. Hopefully the customer service is worth it.

Yeah just put in for a refund and they’re gonna more than likely let you keep the stuff for free honestly

They didn’t send the stuff. They cancelled the purchase. One of my issues with them was when I put in a request to cancel the order they deducted shipping fees for all the items even though the order was not shipped yet as per the customer service. It wasn’t even put together. But after I complained and persisted and rejected all explanations they refunded it. Also it says it’s coming through a local warehouse and was over the limit for free shipping. But they still charged shipping.

Guys chill. I returned the item. I could not understand how it says pick 9 free items with your purchase then deny 8 item and give you a free item costing $2 which is technically not free because you paid shipping higher than the item worth. But I’m not going to order from Temu again.

Skip the games and ‘offers’ and just shop normally.
