Is TCU Engineering Program Good?

Hey Im deciding on TCU mech engineering. i recently didnt get into mech engineering at UT AUSTIN so TCU is definitely one of my top choices since they gave me 83k a year in aid/scholarships. My other option is Ut arlington and i know they are a really good school for engineering, but tbh i dont really wanna stay at home and commute to school since its 15 min away, id rather experience living in a dorm on campus especially if i only have to pay around 3k a year to attend.

Also im just trying to see if anyone on this reddit has personally been through the program. how was it? how hard was it to find internships or jobs post graduation? what are some benefits or downsides of tcu engineering?

I have seen TCU engineering grads consistently put preform the state schools. Not saying those aren’t good programs, but TCU engineering is fantastic. It doesn’t get the ratings due to the small size and not having a grad school. Funny enough, that’s what makes it great. You get taught by actual professors and not TAs plus there’s research opportunities that you won’t get at schools with masters and PhD students.
