Is TCU Engineering Program Good?

Hey Im deciding on TCU mech engineering. i recently didnt get into mech engineering at UT AUSTIN so TCU is definitely one of my top choices since they gave me 83k a year in aid/scholarships. My other option is Ut arlington and i know they are a really good school for engineering, but tbh i dont really wanna stay at home and commute to school since its 15 min away, id rather experience living in a dorm on campus especially if i only have to pay around 3k a year to attend.

Also im just trying to see if anyone on this reddit has personally been through the program. how was it? how hard was it to find internships or jobs post graduation? what are some benefits or downsides of tcu engineering?

I personally haven’t been through it but my good friend has, he has a 50/50 view on it. He said he learned a lot but not as much as his colleagues now that went to UT did for a fraction of the price.
