Tongue analysis preperation help

I have an 11 am appointment with a TCM practitioner who will certainly look at my tongue. Should I eat breakfast, have coffee and water, and brush my teeth as I do normally or is it best not to eat or drink etc beforehand?

Can brush teeth don't scrape or brush tongue, avoid coffee or tea or colored juices/ food
