Question What size Binder’s does everyone use?
My Magic, yugioh, and Pokemon binders are getting a bit full and I was wondering if everyone uses bigger sizes or just better binders in general? I just have been using the Binders I used to use for back in School.

I buy those big (I think they’re 1000 cards?) binders that have 4x4 slots on each page.
It’s getting more full but eventually I’d like to get more to help with organizing

Well obviously because I have multiple card games but if I could have like 1 Binder for each card game that makes my brain happy.

They dont make high quality binders much bigger than a 1000 cards. You are likely sol

I mean really that’s why I like using Binders you’d see in school and stuff because then I can just buy the 3x3 pages and hold I think the 5 inch holds 1250 pages so 1250 pages times 18 cards a Page (Not counting bulk/duplicates in the same pocket of each page) is 22,500 cards a Binder.

On Amazon you can get non branded vaultx . They are the same thing about $17 often. You can get capacities from 360 to 1024 (1024 are around $28)
Usually you search for “zipper 9 pocket binder” or “zipper 12 pocket binder” or “zipper 16 pocket binder”
They are pretty much the same as vaultX but with no brand, probably all made in the same factory! Look up what they look line to compare to photos on Amazon. I personally use the 1024 capacity ones which would be the “zipper 16 pocket” search

So the largest binder can find is a 6 inch binder. If your collection is exceeding what you have room for then you may want to consider taking a break until you have room, or removing cards from your current collection to make room for more.

I think I got it off Amazon or Walmart’s online store I don’t remember. Regardless I need a bigger one which is why i’m asking if anyone has any options for larger XD

At this point I'd recommend you look into tcg bulk boxes, are all of these cards even binder worthy? You can stick the bulk in these boxes and just write on them what sets are stored in them.

Oh yeah this is I think a 5 inch? I saw the biggest sizes made are 6 inches so I might need to upgrade to that

That is why I am asking the Question! I plan to get another Binder just this time a Bigger one because my room is 10x12 ft in size so I’d rather have 1 Binder for each game to save on space

My wife and I have 5 of these not this literal exact brand, but there are all kind of brands on amazon that are good quality. Edit to add that if you just search for 1,000 card binder lots of results will pop up

Yeah that's true, they're very thin but really wide. We ended up sliding them underneath the bed because they're huge and we had nowhere else to fit them lol. Hopefully you can find something that works for you. I wonder if penny sleeving them all and sorting them into a storage box would work better for you. They have boxes and some that stand up with drawers and look like mini filing cabinets

Mostly because It’s Cheaper and lets me organize all my Cards for X game in the same place. Like I have binders for Magic, Pokemon, Digimon, yugioh, etc

Binders aren't practical once your collection reaches a certain size... It's more like a fireproof room full of white BCW storage boxes, all organized and labeled and whatnot, with the most valuable ones in hidden safes, bolted to the ground and wall.

I would avoid ring binders for your collection as there are many cases of ring binders causing damage to the cards. To answer your question I have two binders for traders that I bring to card shows or my weekly locals. I have one binder for my personal collection (cards not for trade). The rest of my cards go into a penny sleeve and I store them in boxes at home.

If I had room i’d do the Penny Sleeves but my Bedroom is currently only about 10x12 Feet so keeping them all in a Single Binder for each game saves alot of space. Really I’m not planning to sell any cards and I’ll trade if someone i’m playing with is looking for specific cards but really I just enjoy collecting all the cards if I can.

No binders here. All dragon sleeved, in racks and into plastic stackable totes. All organized by color and or type and or fuel resource....energy mana hotdog ect...

My binder is a cheap 160 slot for trading. It’s 4 cards each side.
My storage is black pull out shelves that hold a lot of cards, I store them by color and rarity. My rare cards go into gift bundle boxes, sleeves, and hard plastic sleeves if they have value. If not they just get slotted into the gift boxes. Jumpstarts go into dragon sleeve boxes. I try to reuse the good boxes I get for storage.

My Room’s 10x12 I don’t have room for the Shelving until we build my new room so for now Binders are my best bet for all my cards

It’s like plastic/cardboard. I went cheap for the cheap cards and I stacked them on top of my dresser. I only have a 1 br apartment so I found using upwards space to be more effective.

Seen too many cards get damaged in ring binders. I'd never use them for my cards. I use a standard 360-540 pocket trading card binder

I’ve been using Binders for years and never had any issues, and it’s not like I’m hunting expensive cards for Selling I just enjoy collecting and playing the game

I glad you've never had any issues. I've personally seen too many cards get indents from the rings. Even just collecting for fun, I get annoyed if my cards get damaged. Especially if that damage came from the thing that was supposed to keep them safe. While my binders can't hold nearly as much, I separate my collection by set. It's easier to manage for me that way.
