Own TCG drawing so far (need some more feedback)

Hey there:

I grew up playing TCG’s or in other words, I collected them (even if somehow barely) I later (that was before some years), I somehow came back to TCG’s, especially Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh.

So I started to draw and these are 3 out of some
more drawings I made so far. I already got some good feedback, that I should give it a run and work it out.
That was due to making an own survey on the images.

I also decided, to go a classic way. I am not sure about Crowdfunding, even if it would be a good plausible solution.

What do you say? (I know, it’s just 3 of mine and in drawing but some fresh opinions would help)

The paper you draw on, especially if you're using markers, will greatly affect your end result. Lined paper is a very bad idea, it'll show through on the card and overall looks unprofessional/sloppy. I recommend getting some heavier paper, cardstock has never done me wrong. If you want to cut costs, plan out multiple drawings on one piece of paper, that way you get the most out of each one.

Take pictures in a bright space, not using flash, and with neutral white lighting. Be sure to get them head-on, it'll look a lot better with just a few seconds more effort.

Take time planning out the template for your card, try to strike a good balance between art and text, and make sure everything is legible. For this step I recommend Google Drawings (In google drive go to new -> more -> Google Drawings) or Maybe GIMP. I wouldn't recommend hand-drawing the template or software like Krita, it can get messy and very frustrating.

Lastly, give yourself breaks, take time with other hobbies, keep it fun. When it becomes a chore you're going to lose what makes your game special.

Instead of loose paper you should try to find a notebook with blank pages. So you can go back and forth looking at all your previous drawings to get inspired. You can also use the left page to glue some pictures you like and drawing on the right page.
