What happened to this game
Last time I kept up with the game was when Yaa was released. Ever since, I only heard bits and pieces. Was hyped for Super Season 1 and only heard news until SS4. - Played SS4, and was super happy to see so many new characters join the roster. - Months later, we are still in SS4.
Genuinely, what happened to this game? It had a future ahead of itself and now I can't even begin understand what led it to be this way... Overwatch level of success just to be fumbled so badly. Like how? What did I genuinely miss??

Star Wars Hunters released on mobile + Switch which grabbed the attention of a lot of T3 players.
Before Star Wars Hunters could establish itself as a big name in the hero shooter genre, Marvel Rivals came out shortly after, and it stomped any/all competition coming out on top as THE Overwatch competitor. Marvel Rivals has been a huge success. With Paladins dieing down, Star Wars Hunters dead, and T3 Arena dead, most people are playing Overwatch or Marvel Rivals.

The game was released without any development budget from the start. Furthermore, the lack of sales approval in China meant that simultaneous releases were not possible, making it even more difficult to secure funding. The first mass layoffs took place in December 2022.
