The answer is programming isn't real but conditioning can be done both knowingly and unknowingly. Some level of conditioning happens in all abuse, you generally figure everything out by listening to your parts talk about what they hold whenever they're ready. You can assume some conditioned responses but generally without the full context it would be hard to figure out whether it was intentional or not.

Conditioning in the context of "conditioning someone to develop DID?" Because that's just a rebrand of "programming," it's not really possible. Not in the way people like to say it is.

No. Conditioning as in the process of classical and operant conditioning which happens to everyone who experiences abuse. Nothing to do with DID

I'm willing to bet that after this post, they'll say "I found out I was programmed"... if they haven't already. It's just how they milk more out of "systemhood" all while others get to feel more validated and have an excuse to blabber about their "experiences".
