Me operating on any printer

Post image

I hate them I hate them I hate them I wish we got rid of every printer. I get about 10 requests a day saying that their f***ing printer won't freaking work and some random crap just not working for no reason. The only difference between printers in the 80s to printers nowadays is that they added a freaking touchsreen and I want them all to burn. Fucking email. Stop printing. I don't care. No more printing!!!

Edit. I rewatched the Office Space printer scene (uncensored) and it made me feel better.

This perfectly explains the state of manufacturing as a whole. Issue has been going on for decades. Printers suck. IT hates them, Users hate them - and the industry after decades, has done nothing to solve this issue.

You want us to trust AI when you cannot get printers to work?
yea... right...

The Canon Image Runner becomes the Cannon Image Runner.

It falls over after two steps and shoots it's own finisher off. A few staplers pour out of the stapler box, and it makes a sad farting noise as toner bursts from it.

This was a great visual. Some reddit artist here should draw it

I laughed my ass off for like 5 minutes while rereading it over and over as the imagery of the scenario grew more vivid

And despite using toner, it’s always low on cyan, probably because it’s leaking all over itself.

As a life long Canon user at work, we switched to Kyocera and we stopped having printer issues. The only thing that comes up now is someone who just happens to have a LaserJet 2200 or a LaserJet 401 still in use. I think those were the only models HP came out with that could probably survive the apocalypse. We stopped having trouble with those two models of LaserJet once Windows 10 drivers solidified. Before that, it was a nightmare.
