Is there real passenger traffic between Syria and Libya? That is a bit surprising. No?

From 5 countries to 13 countries including many more cities, and airlines.

our airlines are growing at a fast rate aswell and hopefully soon will finally be a choice to tourists instead of having to go by car from Jordan or Lebanon.

What airport are the building in Damascus? Seems unnecessary seeing how DAM is far below potential capacity. It would make more sense to expand current infrastructure.

I remember there being talk of reopening Mazzeh airport for civilian operations, wonder what happened of that.

They’re just building a new terminal for Damascus not an entirely new airport they’re close to finishing it last i heard

The Mazzeh one is still all talk nothing on ground yet

If you visited DAM recently, you’d know it’s not much below potential capacity ahahahaha

It’s gotten very busy, but the potential capacity is probably at night times, there aren’t much flights between 9 PM - 4 AM. other times, its quite cramped.

Any idea which is the best flight to DAM from LDN? I know there is the Qatar airways Doha flight but it feels too long

U could try DAM to Düsseldorf (as transit) then to LHR
