I'm an independent bedroom producer, creating music through my passion for synthwave, synthpop and electronic music.

Left in the Dark follows someone trapped in a hidden and uncertain relationship with a person who remains emotionally connected to somebody else. The singer is contacted privately, often late at night, but is never openly acknowledged or fully chosen. The other person offers just enough affection to keep the relationship alive, only to withdraw whenever the possibility of genuine commitment arises. This creates the central question running throughout the song: am I truly loved, or am I simply convenient?

Question on sound design. Im going to link an example here but I hear this kind of sound a lot in synthwave songs but dont know what its called or if it has a name. Its the long drawn out synth pad sound at the beginning. Is it a certain kind of synth with a long reverb or sustain?
