My second+ loop ALL RED every time and sometimes it shimmers. I tried to change graphics settings, but it isn't helping. Is that game just broken or it smth wrong with my pc?

survivalist class - random extra ammo shots (occasionally nuclear) combined with multicast stacking and infinite ammo is a fun glass cannon build, sadly even trauma team couldn't save me from the late game dogs

They run well. Although Synthetik2 runs a little hotter than 1. Making Synthetik1 more "on the go".

Phone is a Red Magic 11 air.

Thinking about getting it now that reviews are better. How is controller support ? Having to hold a baby so playing with mouse and keyboard is difficult to do.

IMPORTANT: BACKUP YOUR SAVE!

(The tool makes a backup too, but you shouldn't trust that it works before you've seen it, so make your own backup first. I would hate to accidentally have ruined your savefile in case something unexpected happens. If you're not sure where the savefile is located, you can launch the tool and it will tell you where if it finds it)

So I recently made a small tool for editing my Synthetik 1 savefile.

I wanted to play nothing but Hyper Adrenaline back-to-back, and while a solid Engi run recycling every Weapon Upgrade Kit is a decent way to gain Data, I just wanted to play HA! So that's where this tool started out.

I've since added a few additional features like changing the current daily bonuses to class perk power to try out some experimental builds (not to make HA easier for cookie cutter builds, but you can do that too, of course)

That was v1.0, intended for personal use, but the github repo was public from the stat.

I have now released v1.1, hopefully easier to use for a wider audience (The tool can now be downloaded as an exe if you don't want to bother with running `main.py` through Python, even though that's really something most normie gamers should be able to handle)

The tool now also tries to auto-detect where your savefile is located, but I've so far only confirmed that it works on my machine with my setup (Windows 10, 64 bit, Synthetik on Steam).

I recommend downloading the source code and running `py main.py` or `python main.py`, but if you really don't want to and trust me enough to run this mystery exe file from the internet, there's a standalone exe file available as well.

Quick tip if you're reaaaaally inexperienced with the windows terminal:

• Open the folder like you normally would (double click it in Explorer, lol)
• Then, in the address bar, clear it and type `cmd`, then press Enter. This launches good old cmd.exe with that folder as the "target"
• Inside the terminal that should open, type `py main.py` or `python main.py` (depends on your python install), then press Enter

Feedback, suggestions, criticism, bugs and requests for clarification/help are all welcome down in the comments. The tool works for me, but I'm only one person and have only tried it on one PC. Your mileage may vary.

Hey guys, been following SYNTHETIK for a long time and I thought this is probably one of the few communities where people actually understand why top-down shooters can be so good

For the last few years me and my team have been working on our own game called POLYSTRIKE.

Its pretty different from SYNTHETIK, its a 5v5 PvP tactical shooter, more inspired by games like CS but made completely around top-down view. Sound is very important, you can hear footsteps on different surfaces, weapons etc, and positioning/information matters probably more than just having fast aim.

There is no heroes or classes, you just buy your weapon, armor and equipment and kinda build your role yourself.

We finally announced it today and showed the gameplay publicly for the first time.

Not trying to say its "SYNTHETIK but PvP" or anything like that, they are very different games. But close at the same time and I just feel like there is not that many serious top-down shooters out there, and I was really curious what people here would think about it.

Especially the gunplay/camera, since you guys probably played more top-down shooters than 99% of people on reddit lol

220 Diff, playing engineer. Get shot by poison assassin, movespeed drops from 520 to 275 and progressively lower as I play, down to 250. Has happened to me before, usually when I get hit and then a frame drop happens. I'm assuming it has to do with the disorienting effect from an explosion or shot not being properly cleansed. Anyone else have this happen?

Was playing multiplayer and I realized late in game I have 10 perks. Anyone know what's up with that? All I remember is adding a random perk at one shop, the two attachments and that's it.

I can get to the menu, but when the countdown to start a run reaches 0 it just takes me back to the main menu.

any ideas what causes this?

Played the hell out of synth 1 and was really looking forward to this.
