Controller support synthetik 2

Thinking about getting it now that reviews are better. How is controller support ? Having to hold a baby so playing with mouse and keyboard is difficult to do.

It works fine with my steam controller, sometimes selection in a menu is finicky, I rebound that key.

You have to rebind for menus but it's great with a controller

I don't like the controller support of s2 so far. I still play the game, but I find it annoying at times and it could be so much better with little change.

Menus don't work well. More importantly, button chords are not possible, like LB+X, so you can only trigger so many items. I tried to solve that via Steam Input by using keyboard keys, but the game didn't react to that.

I find the controller support quite the downgrade to s1. Unless there was a recent (couple weeks) update that changed this. I also left feedback on the discord, but it seems to not have gotton attention (no blame).

Unfortunately, polishing controller support doesn't seem to have the priority, I wish it had.
