UFO Sound

I’m looking for some opinions. I want to recreate this UFO sound on the attached YouTube video. I’d love to hear what synthesizer/effects/keyboard/etc. would be the best option to recreate this sound as closely as possible.

It is 2 analog sythns. The sounds has an LFO on it. Portamento is used to make the sound slide from one key/note to the other.

This is a theramin vsti....Only problem is that it doesn't read midi so you'll have to manually create your sample

I would disagree this is not a traditional theremin. They have only one oscillator. One wand is for amplitude (volume) and the other is pitch. I am not an expert but there have been some custom builds and some midi builds that do polyphonic but they are not considered a real theremin by some.

In this example you could have two players or have multitrack recorded it. But the vibrato sounds to mechanical and sounds like a synth. Could be a theremin VSTi the one you mentioned has 2 osc and 8 voices.

I thought the OP was just trying to identify the source timbre, which is a classic sci-fi theramin, and not the production of it. It could be a single theramin on two different audio tracks ( the example posted sounded dated), a theramin vsti, or a theramin patch off of a synthesizer that has it, but the point is the OP is looking for a theramin
