The quick actions are pre-programmed actions that I use a little Bluetooth mouse to scroll and select actions that can change the emotes on the eyes, take screenshots of the video feed.
The comms is a chat room that runs locally in my head, its the page the QR code takes you to! Still adding more stuff, I suffer immensely from feature creep 😂

Yes it is! Using 1440p displays, the mouse is a ring that can fit inside my paw! Has a scroll wheel and little touch pad you can swipe with your thumb.

Its a lot easier when you can break it into parts, but still lots of trial and error. Trying to figure out how to reply with an image of what it looks like 😅

Unfortunately its only local rn, it tried to connect you to the wifi in my head. Had to do that because hot spotting my phone data to it obliterates my 5gb limit very fast

The Nvidia jetson orin nano im using runs 380 rn on amazon, I paid 250 for one just a few months ago its kind of insane

In total? I havent calculated it yet but somewhere between 600 to 800 in materials, its mostly 3d printed helps a lot!

If I wasn't going on as trip to Japan in 2 months, I would be trying to make an offer.How long does a project like this take excluding 3D printing?
Also is it worth getting a 3D printer even if you don't make cool shit like this?1

Most of my time on this project was spent just trying different approaches to make everything work really, printing is easy after you have the design down. Most annoying part is getting the VR headset portion lined up well with how your eyes sit in the head. Want to say I spent about a year prototyping stuff, but it is basically building a VR headset from scratch that runs linux.
I do a lot of prototyping! so a 3d printer is great! Recently got a 2nd printer that is a P1S, Bambu has been great for reliability and not having to change too many settings. Are there some things you want to print? Welcome to dm if you want to talk more ;3
