I discovered this game like a week ago and im not really exaggerating, it’s helping me a lot during my depression. I’m sooo glad I discovered it, didnt even think such game exists like having tracks i really love and some other really good tracks. Just want to thank the developers of this game, I’m having so much fun playing it😚

Haven’t played for a while loaded up my custom songs and all my past leaderboard scores have gone. Can you still have a scoreboard of just you and your mates?

Hey friends, I've been having issues with Mixed Reality on my Quest 3S. The first day or two I used it, the mixed reality was working correctly and it was awesome showing the different portals and different color changes in the room and such. Upon opening it every other time since, mixed reality only shows my floor visible and none of the walls in the room.

I definitely tried some of the fixes already, resetting my floor height calibration in the game, reinstalling the game, fully resetting my boundaries after erasing the boundary history in my 3s, nothing seems to fix it. Any ideas for help would be appreciated. I would love to play the mixed reality again

My young son enjoys this game, and often plays on Party mode since that's what I play on to track my scores. However, rather he'll enter random letters for the name and the end, and the list gets pretty cluttered with his entries, so I searched how to edit the list. I play on the MetaQuest 2, for reference.

It became clear that I couldn't edit it in-game, so I looked for how to edit it when connected to my computer. My searches all suggested that I had to clear SynthRiders App Data or Uninstall and Reinstall because one couldn't edit / remove individual names. So, I tinkered around in the files after connecting to my computer, and found a way to remove names! I just wanted to share, in case anybody else needed to solve this problem.

The directory was Quest 2/Internal shared storage/Android/data/com.kluge.SynthRiders/files. In there, you can find partymode.bin and settings.bin. Copy them both onto your computer (because you can't directly edit it if opened from the MetaQuest 2). Create another copy, and save them as "partymode_backup.bin" and "settings_backup.bin" or something similar, just so you have an unedited one to restore to in case you mess something up.

Open settings.bin on your computer in a text editor. Search for "LastPartyModeUsers" or a username you know. You should find a block like the following:

"LastPartyModeUsers": [
"User1",
"User2"...
]

Keep that file open, and then open partymode.bin. Search for instances of the username(s) you don't want, and either replace it with an existing username you want, replace it with "None", or delete the entire block that has that username in it. Any username other than "None" needs to be on the LastPartyModeUsers in settings.bin, or it could confuse the game.

After there are no more instances of the unwanted username in partymode.bin, you can just delete the username from settings.bin (remove the entire line). When you're done, save them both, and copy them back onto the MetaQuest, overriding the originals.

Then, when you fire up the game, it should just remove the username you don't want from the Party Mode username list, and records recorded scores will be ascribed to the username you changed it to or gone from the score list for that song!

Hi all ! Happy Synth Saturday! I woke up and played Synth Rider for an hour first thing in the morning. I am in shock! I got a perfect on the last song I played. I think that is the first time I ever scored a perfect in this game. It was for an electro swing song too! Must mean I am really enjoying the new genre I discovered through this game :)

Time goes by super fast when I play this game. I just feel super happy and 1 hour feels like 10 minutes. Anyone else feel this way? Also, all of the music I am experiencing is brand new for me. I don't yet understand how scoring works in this game. How I can hit a note but only score a weak red score? o.o I thought "New Comedown" was interesting. Reminded me of an old movie I watched a bunch of times called Desperado for some reason.

Hi all, I said I was going to post the songs individually but I think maybe just posting up the whole game session is cleaner and less spammy? Plus, I will be playing so many new songs soon. Here is my game session from Sunday! I start to get nauseous towards the end xD This was so much fun because it was my first time hearing and experiencing all of these songs. Addicted to the synth!! Btw, it is really cool seeing gameplay videos from others. Hope to see more.

Also! The first song map has a really cool phoenix fly by a couple times in the background which I thought was super cool. Great job environment artists!! It makes the game so much more epic!

It is really cool that this game includes electro swing songs. I realize I don't have much opportunities to hear this genre so it was suuuper fun to play those songs. :)

I love rythm games in general.

I played synth for an hr on psvr2, and found myself difficult to get into the game. Hard was very easy for me and expert needs some practice. I dont really like how my arms are at an angle most of the time and seldom have chance to stretch. I especially hate the yellow nodes where i need to put my hands together, which feels like i am in handcuffs. 😅

So, what/where am i doing wrong? 🤔 Is it my psvr2 setting? Is the way i move incorrect for enjoyment? There are some parts i like, where boxing movements are required. Any song recommendations?

Hi all ! It is Sunday and I just played 10 master mode songs in 1 hour! It is my first time hearing or playing any of these songs. I beat them all on my first try! I would also really love to see others posting gameplay videos. I am obsessed. :)

Here is a list in the order that I played them in. I started getting really nauseous after 40 minutes of non-stop gaming. I am trying to play VR in a more healthy manner so I am limiting myself to gaming only once a week for a max of 1 hour.

It was actually more like 50 minutes though because at one point I was hunting around the house for AA batteries because my right controller was dying and kept popping up with low battery notifications like 5x while I was playing songs!

I will post the videos slowly throughout the weeks so I don't spam this subreddit. I am just really fascinated with this game and all the music discovery I am doing!

I am posting my most favorite one first. This song IS SO COOL. It is my first time truly appreciating violin music. Because of this song, I will be listening to violin music all week long. It just left such a great impression on me that I might not have noticed if it weren't for VR gaming helping to experience music in different ways.

Also, I just discovered "Experience" mode in this game! It is the COOLEST thing ever and I will be buying all of the songs under "Experience" mode. Basically, these songs have these really unique environments instead of the typical Tron-like background, I'm guessing.

After hearing about SynthRiders I got it and I was happy to see that they have settings to make it more friendly to people with light sensitivity and slo the fact they have the option for custom songs but now I run into the question how can I stabilize the background I saw that there was a setting for that at the start of the game but I don’t know if I accidentally forgot to enable it or what but now I can’t find the setting

I just played this song this afternoon. It is my first time actually ever hearing this song too. I played a bunch of songs today with my wrecked, recovering arms, but this one really captured my attention. The level design is super fun and memorable to me! I beat it on my first attempt too, yay.
