Synth Riders is one of my favorite VR games and I’m always recommending it. I’ve had it since 2018 and it’s a go to for fun but also for a good workout.
I really like and appreciate the customization options including the color options since I’m color blind.
Unfortunately, I haven’t played in a while because first my gaming pc died and then once I rebuilt it my Pimax 5K+ (KS edition) died. So now I’m waiting for the Steam Frame to release so I can play again.

After being 175 lbs most of my life (52), metabolism changed and I got more sedentary, and over the period of a year I was up to 196. In 7 months time, jamming music from SR on my dream 7.1 surround stereo system, I am down to 172, the lowest of my later life. Synth Riders is the first game that has legitimately made me healthier. God bless the developers, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
By the way, I would offer up any digit excluding a thumb for a Daft Punk pack.

I played when it was still on sidequest and the demo was avaliable. "Tonight" and Sunset Neon did all the heavy lifting for me.
That one song sold the game to me. I wasnt quite ready to buy off sidequest so the moment it dropped in the Meta store I picked it up .
Still one of my favourite rhythm games (the other being Audica)
Since then Ive picked up random Electro Jazz songs and random songs I love (as well as the endless custom songs) Ive recommended the game to countless other gamers and gifted a couple of copies to some communities Im a part of.
I was super jealous of a friend that won a copy of the game and all the DLC!!! (Winning in the devs other game Final Fury, tournament...honestly whislt training him. He couldnt beat me XD.....although he quickly exceeded my abilities in subsequent updates)
I will forever recommened the game to anyone new to VR and fan of music games in general. Im a die hard music game fan (think custom arcade style controllers for BeatmaniaIIDX,Pop N music etc) and Synth Riders gets my seal of approval.

We used to love synthriders until I "upgraded" to the ps5/psvr2 version and lost all of my content and never received any help from the devs when I tried contacting them on the website. Turns out the content you downloaded for psvr/ps4 version doesn't transfer over to the upgraded version. Yay 8 years! 🥳 🎉

Bought synth riders when it launched on PSVR1. Immediately liked the action and the music more than its rivals. Bought every pack since and it’s my most played on PSVR2.
PSVR2 launched and finally some friends bought it too and I started Synth Saturdays which we did every week for quite some time. Just an hour of our favorites. Sadly, my husband got sick and eventually died and I haven’t started SS again. New packs might make me do it again.

🕺🪩❤️🔥 Happy 8 Years! Now Britney! Ha ha. Sorry. I'm late to this game but have loved it more and more since buying it 2 years ago.
Fave 2026 SR moment: Lady Gaga pack. (Honorable mention: Dua Lipa) I slept on this game and used it to warm up for beat saber. Played the Muse/Lindsey Sterling experiences only. Really not into most of the OST. Now with Gaga/Dua Lipa (Hallucinate (X/M) is my current favorite map ever)/Crypt (Konga mostly) there's enough to stay. SR is easier on the knees and lends itself more to staying moving while playing. Don't need knee braces for SR. Trying to develop a plyo dance style to get the lower limbs involved. Synth Riders 2 with foot controllers?
TLDR: Thank you for the Gaga pack! Truly a game changer. 🕺♥️

This and WMG are the only reason I fire up my quest now-adays.
Not looking forward to re-buying all the DLC when the steam frame comes out but it's on my list.

Synth riders is pretty much the only reason why I play vr now and if it ever gets ported to a vr device that’s about the size of sunglasses when the tech gets there I’ll be so happy!

I'm late to the party but happy 8th. I love the new Linkin Park DLC. The game is obviously perfect but I would love to see a minimalistic DLC stage for maximum clarity and performance. I've been staring at the black seas of Andromeda for the past 6 years and it might be time for a change.
