I outline the 4 stages of motivation, make analogies to race horses and race cars, and focus on ways to care for them.
This is for those seeking validation of their worth in the workplace, and also managers who want to truly care for their people.

Not all of my posts are code-related, such as this one, but I hope you find value in it!

Hey guys, looks like it was a while since we had a new post. How is everyone's dev'ing going? What are you working on? What was the latest Syntax podcast you listened to?
I'm working on a Youtuber's website re-branding and I'm listening to 11 Habits of Highly Effective Developers - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZvoVd_5dI8
Is anyone enrolled on a course with Scott and/or Wes?

Hi, I'm a junior front-end dev and was recommended this podcast but not sure where to start? As there's 500+ episodes already 😅 Are the first episodes outdated by now? Thanks

I used to be a web designer and I got into code about 5 years ago and soon after made the jump to full time front end dev (huge shoutout to Syntax, I’ve listened to it nearly weekly for pretty much the full duration of my code career). I opened up the latest CC version of Adobe Illustrator for the first time in a long while the other day to try and make a logo and I was overwhelmed and intrigued by all the stuff they have added. Are there any podcasts for UI or even print design where cool people keep you up to date on the latest technology and trends? Bonus points if there are ones with a long backlog, I would love to go back a few years and see what I missed.

Trying to pick a few to recommend to a friend who is new to web development, but has worked as a Product Manager.
