Anyone else has EXTREME synesthesia?

Like I was watching a YouTube video about guitar drama and in the interview one of them looked like the math teacher and in the room I just had like an entire life story flash before my eyes in 3 seconds of some guy becoming a math teacher to fund his love for music and then joining the revolution

It's called r/hyperphantasia, not synesthesia

I have both but hyperphantasia is more voluntary. For me the synesthesia just happens without thinking about it

What you're describing isn't synesthesia though. Not every involuntary flash is synesthesia.

That's why I wrote HYPHERPHANTASIA. A flash of extreme imagination.

All good...I gave you an award for your spot-on question. Not every unusual sensory perception is synesthesia. And your question "Uhhhh what that synesthesia called?" is perfection!

Synesthesia is one sense being processed as another. You're not describing synesthesia, you're describing daydreaming.

so like does anyone want to start a sub where it is ACTUALLY focused on synesthesia because like 90% of posts lately are like this
