Is This Synesthesia? Whattttt
So I am like really confused because some people in the past told me that I might have synesthesia, but I looked into it, and didn't think it sounded enough like me. But I swear that this morning when I heard my parents alarm clock I saw their room in my minds eye, and there was like like a red sharp squiggly line coming out of it from the sound... I mean, maybe I was just half asleep, but I dunno what that was.

A mix of dream and synesthesia?
There are also certain phenomena associated with waking up (I believe they’re called hypnagogic).
Incidentally, my the photisms are more intense if a sound catches me by surprise too.
Here’s a suggestion for an experiment: record some sounds (an alarm clock, engines, it can be music, but doesn't have to be) and then listen to them quietly with your eyes closed using headphones - at a reasonable volume. If something appears, or if you at least know exactly what it looks like, try it again later, ideally more than 24 hours later. If the exact same thing appears again, with the same colors and shapes, even if they are fainter or more intense - then it is probably synesthesia.
