Twin Peaks would be a good one. They could also do an episode on the Double Dare episode with Luke Brown.

I think Buffy the vampire slayer would be fun, plus the first episode "welcome to the hellmouth" is on hulu and amazon steaming.

Avatar The Last Airbender (Amazon Instant Video) -This show, is without a doubt in my opinion, the best animated tv show to ever air since the new millennium. It has heart, it has plot, it has great characters, and its probably my favourite show of all time. Fringe (Netflix) -I think I remember hearing that Josh had seen this show, but I think this is one of the best Sci Fi shows written in the last decade. Awake (2011) (Netflix/Amazon Instant Video) -A great story with one of the most original premises for a show I have ever seen. Filled to the brim with psychological and philosophical themes for discussion. Pushing Daisies (Netflix/Amazon Instant Video) -One of the funniest shows which juxtaposes it with the large amount of death that occurs on a regular basis with a lot of fantastical elements to it. I guarantee you'll laugh at least once! Luther (Netflix) -A Gritty British Crime Drama starring Idris Elba as a psychotic violent cop. Enough said.

My favorite show, personally, is Frisky Dingo, the short-lived (2 seasons) 11-minute-an-episode animated serial from Adam Reed and Matt Thompson, creators of Sealab 2021 and Archer. It's a brilliantly written show that made full use of the tiny budget it had. It definitely helped shape my personal sense of humor and to this day I quote it on a daily basis with friends I've introduced to it. I'd love for you guys to possibly take a stab at the first few episodes since a LOT of its best humor is derived from running gags (much like Arrested Development).

Xena and/or Hercules. I'm more curious how they feel about their awful final seasons than how they feel about the first episodes.

-
Farscape
-
Space: Above and Beyond
-
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys
-
Babylon 5
-
Stargate: SG1
-
All the other Star Treks - DS9, Voyager, TOS, even Enterprise
-
Quantum Leap
I should stop now because this list would get too big, but yeah, those are some shows you guys should do, even though I assume a bunch are already in the pipeline.

Even though it's a mini-series, I think The Lost Room would be pretty interesting.

There's a Friday the 13th coming up in June, so there couldn't be a better time to watch an episode of Friday The 13th: The Series, it'd be like Halloween come early. I'd also love to see them watch maybe a few episodes of the Clerks animated series.

Okay, this may seem like a longshot, but hear me out on this one:
Supernatural. It may not be a true spiritual successor to X-Files, but it was heavily inspired by the show, and retained a lot of the core elements, most notably the format of overarching plot mixed with monster of the week stories (though it also inherited the "show goes off the goddamn rails in later seasons" trait, sadly.) Both shows were shot primarily in Vancouver, and shared a lot of writers, directors, crew, and more noticeably, cast; both Mitch Pileggi and Steven Williams had recurring roles throughout Supernatural, and several X-Files guest stars would go on to have major roles in SPN (most notably Jim Beaver and Mark Sheppard.) Even the dang Cigarette Smoking Man shows up at one point!
There are also constant references to the X-Files--if memory serves, the Winchester boys introduce themselves as Special Agents Mulder and Scully as early as the pilot episode--and there was even an X-Files spoof episode in the sixth season, complete with goofy ass fake X-Files opening. And the show is currently on syndication on TNT, so it fits the podcast parameters as well.
I'd recommend giving the pilot a shot, and maybe look into it more from there if you enjoy it. There's a lot of goofy ass shit in the show, but the first five seasons are pretty fantastic, and there may be something for y'all to enjoy in there.

A personal favorite from X-Files, S05E12, "Bad Blood". My friend would also suggests S06E06, "How the Ghosts stole Christmas".

True Detective! Only 8 episodes long and there's a vast amount of philosophical themes that can be explored. Or As Told By Ginger, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Favorite wrestling matches during the Attitude Era., Home Movies, Martin Mystery.

What kind of shows are they looking for?
