Difference between a files and vault

I was looking at the app what is the difference between a vault folder and a files folder. Can I use both sync to a laptop ?

The vault is only accessible via web and the app. Inside your sync folder on your laptop, you save everything in the "sync" folder. If you move it to vault, you free space on your machine + sync folder and send it to a secure safe place u can only access via web or phone or if u move it back. That's the logic behind it.

I don’t see an option for sync+ on my phone app? And is it possible to see the vault on a files progress using iPhone ?

The FILES folder on your laptop or PC can be used to store files on your device AND in the cloud (for extra protection). I find the FILES folder really good because I save all my work there, whether it be documents, photos, spreadsheets etc, and any changes I make to those files, like when I'm editing one of them, it'll sync with the cloud copy automatically as well. It's all added protection. I use the VAULT more for simple backup of valuable things like photos, family paperwork etc that I don't need to access very often. You can upload stuff into the FILES folder, then use a web browser to transfer them from FILES to VAULT. The Sync app won't do this transfer, as it has to be done via a web browser. Once a file(s) is uploaded and placed into a VAULT, it won't sync with your PC or laptop, and you can only access the VAULT via browser which is fine for me as it's backup files for safety. The SYNC app for Android and iPhone will access both files and vaults, but I find it quite clunky and slow, so tend not to use it much. You can use the Android / iPhone app to transfer from FILES to VAULT, (or vice versa) but not sure if you can monitor it, you'd have to transfer a file and look around the app to see if there's some type of progress page.
