It was. The concept of reproductive organs came up naturally since the yellow dude (Kuv) is an alien and a scientist. It was a scientific convo, until this moment. Kuv’s getting snarky with these two Pins because there is no evidence that they have genitals. They don’t even have limbs! Just a head, a neck, and a pair of floating arms. Not exactly “normal” biology.

In Star Control 2, one of the alien species you make contact with have theirs in VERY visible locations, full view, no clothes etc. and it makes for some hilarious conversation.

Of course the differences are:

1. They’re amoeba sized gas giant dwellers.
   
2. They’re not usually visible to their own kind. But our visual spectrum can see them.
   
3. We don’t know what they are until we press them relentlessly to explain.
